Skynets Over Denver

Look up to the sky while you’re exploring downtown Denver this weekend to catch a glimpse of the colorful work of art that’s moving overhead. Skynets over Denver is a summer series of massive aerial installations by talented Colorado-based artist Patrick Shearn and Poetic Kinetics. Shearn has transformed the downtown skyline into a vibrant masterpiece with flowing pieces of fabric designed to move with the wind and mimic the movement of birds. The pieces offer a constantly changing experience depending on weather, time of day, wind and more. Due to this, there is no single “best” time to view the installations. Skynets Over Denver will remain on display through October 1st, giving you plenty of time to look up and be amazed!
PRO Tip: There are currently three installations displayed at different downtown locations: Union Station, Glenarm Plaza and Skyline Park.
