Comedy Works Downtown is welcoming Steph Tolev for five shows across three nights, kicking off this Thursday at 7:30 PM and continuing through Sunday at 9:45 PM. Tolev first caught fire on the Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill! The Netflix special has been featured on Comedy Central various times. Tolev has been well-received by fans at festivals across the world and can be found performing around Los Angeles and headlining clubs throughout the country.
PRO Tip: These shows are designated for guests ages 21 and up, with ticket prices ranging from $20 to $35, depending on the night.
Cafe Noir with Crooked Lane Books Live

Tattered Cover Colfax is hosting a panel of award-winning mystery and thriller writers this Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Books will be available at the event for guests to purchase. Participating authors include Jennifer K. Morita, who’s a former newspaper reporter. Morita’s debut novel, Ghosts of Waikiki, is a Lefty Award nominee. D.M. Rowell will also be in attendance, with his released books garnering high praise and even a 2023 Finalist for the Simon & Schuster Mary Higgins Clark Award! You’ve likely heard of Sal Vulcano from his popular TV show, “Impractical Jokers,” or from his comedy troupe: The Tenderloins! Vulcano’s quick wit and endearing personality have made him a standout on the scene. The American improvisational and stand-up comedian hails from Staten Island and also hosts a podcast with fellow comedian Chris Distefano titled “Hey Babe!”

Candlelight: A Tribute to Coldplay

If you’ve yet to experience a Candlelight concert, grab your tickets to this Coldplay tribute and watch as the magic unfolds in front of you. This Friday’s venue will be the Kirk of Highland, a former church dating back to the late 1800s. Concertgoers will be greeted by a live, multi-sensory musical experience that’s never been seen before. Watch as the String Quartet — Range Ensemble performs hit songs from the British rock band such as Clocks, Trouble, Fix You, Something Just Like This, Yellow, The Scientist, and Sky Full of Stars. The concert will last approximately 60 minutes, with doors opening 45 minutes prior to the start time.
PRO Tip: Friday will feature two concerts, one at 6:30 PM and another at 8:45 PM. Attendees can purchase tickets in Zone A, B, or C starting as low as $29.
2025 Colorado Dragon Boat Film Festival

The Colorado Dragon Boat Film Festival is the only all-Asian and Asian American film festival in the state. This weekend at the Denver Sie Center, celebrate the 10th anniversary of this event with other film fanatics! The film festival is presented in partnership with Denver Film and will feature special screenings, community conversations, and additional events that highlight, promote, and celebrate the accomplishments of Asian and Asian-Pacific American communities in film.

Masters of Hawaiian Music

Swallow Hill Music is excited to present Masters of Hawaiian Music with George Kahumoku Jr, Herb Ohta Jr, and Sonny Lim. These three masters are known for their uniquely Hawaiian styles of slack key guitar and ukulele. Kahumoku Jr. is a four-time Grammy winner and has been honored with a Hawai’i Academy of Recording Arts 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award. The show begins at 8:00 PM on Saturday, with doors opening an hour beforehand. Advance general admission tickets are priced at $35 and tickets will increase to $40 on the day of the show.

Bollywood Neon Holi Bash 2025

The Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade is hailed as the largest parade west of the Mississippi! Mark your calendars for Saturday so you don’t miss this iconic celebration presented by Bellco Credit Union. The parade begins at 9:30 AM off of 19th & Wynkoop. The parade has been a hallmark tradition since 1962, celebrating the city’s deep love of Irish culture. Spectators can expect to see floats, dancing, live bands, charities, and even local celebrities! Find one of the many green beers available at a local bar or grab a snack to help you stay energized for the parade.

Queer Bazaar

This Saturday, join the lineup of Queer and Allied vendors at Bierstadt Lagerhaus from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This event is presented by OUT FRONT Magazine and is sure to be one of the most fabulous gatherings of the weekend. The afternoon will feature drag performances and of course, lager aplenty! This is a fun and inclusive experience where attendees can shop, mingle and support local queer businesses. Snack on Bavarian pretzels, wings, currywurst, schnitzel, and more while you shop and don’t forget to try a seasonal lager or one of the regular rotations, such as the Heirloom Corn Lager or the Oktoberfest brew.

Month of Photography Denver Festival 2025

Every other year in March, the Colorado Photographic Arts Center presents Month of Photography Denver. This festival invites the public to explore the world of photography through dozens of exhibitions and events in participating spots across the city and beyond. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or you consider yourself more of a casual smartphone camera hobbyist — there’s truly something for everyone with works on display ranging from hundreds of local, national, and international photographers.

Kids’ Matinee: East High Angelaires

Doors to this all-ages Dazzle event open at 11:00 AM on Saturday, with the show beginning at 12:00 PM. The East High Angelaires are a performing group hailing from East High School in Denver. Dazzle shows are known for producing unique musical experiences that are reflective of the diversity that the Centennial State has to offer. The roots of the venue lie in jazz but have since expanded to other genres, as well as a variety of national and international touring acts sprinkled throughout the calendar.
PRO Tip: There is a minimum purchase of two food or beverage items per person. Adult tickets are on sale for $12, senior tickets for $10 and student tickets for $8.
Saturday Train Rides!


Where? 17155 West 44th Avenue

Pay a visit to the Colorado Railroad Museum in nearby Golden this weekend for a train ride! This is fun for the whole family and especially exciting for little locomotive fans. Saturday train rides will resume through mid-May, with the frequency expected to increase during the summer months. The 2025 season features trains being pulled along by one of the museum’s diesel-electric locomotives, with both open-air and enclosed coaches for passenger enjoyment.
PRO Tip: Advance ticket purchase is recommended! Tickets include general admission and rides depart every half hour from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Prices are set at $14 for adults, $7 for ages 2 to 17, and $12 for seniors ages 60+. Rides are free for museum members and children under the age of 2.
