All-Out Summer Breeze

Breeze into the summertime with the All-Out Summer Breeze this Saturday on the Van Bibber Trail in Arvada. This year will mark the 14th annual run/walk, which is all about celebrating community and inclusion while benefitting the Food Bank of the Rockies. This is a BOLDERBoulder qualifying event for the 2027 race and features relatively flat 5K, 10K and half marathon courses that meander along the beautiful and scenic Van Bibber Creek Trail. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or you want to enjoy the fresh air with friends and family, this is a prime opportunity to get active this weekend.

Boston Banshees vs. Denver Onyx

Denver Onyx is a professional women’s rugby team that’s been forged in the Rocky Mountains. The team plays at Infinity Park, located in nearby Glendale. Saturday’s kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM and gates will open an hour prior to kickoff. Spectator entry is only permitted through the south main gate. Catch the raw speed and fierce tackles as the Boston Banshees charge onto the field against the Denver Onyx. Expect fast-paced scrums, jaw-dropping tries and edge-of-your-seat drama throughout the evening.

Denver Bike Fest 2026

The Denver Bike Fest is celebrating all things bikes, community and connection. This Saturday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, head to the York Street Yards to spend the day with local bike groups, shops, artists and food vendors as you get an up close look at how inclusive and fun the Denver cycling community can be. Whether you ride daily or you just love fun vibes, everyone is invited to join! There will be 50+ bike organizations, nonprofits, community groups and government agencies at the fest, as well as a lineup of live music and entertainment throughout the day. Arrive hungry and check out the food and drink vendors. Dogs are allowed at the Yard and there will be something for everyone at Denver Bike Fest, so bring the little ones along as well.
PRO Tip: There will be free bike parking at the south side entrance from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Volunteers will be on hand to swap your bike for a claim ticket.
Demo Artist: Denise Richardson

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process with Denise Richardson in the Cosmic Studio at the Denver Art Museum this Saturday. The Studio draws inspiration from artists across time and space and invites visitors to experience the future of art through hands-on activities. Visitors can weave, paint, and dream their way into the deepest realms of human creativity and leave more connected to themselves and the worlds around them than when they arrived. Visit the Cosmic Studio from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM this Saturday to see what it’s all about. The studio is located in the Hamilton Building on Level 1. Access is included with general admission!

CO SWANA Annual ROAD-E-O

This Saturday, head on out to the DIA Training Center from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the Colorado SWANA Road-e-o. This is more than just a competition, it’s a celebration of the essential workers who tirelessly strive to keep the community safe and clean. This annual event brings together the best equipment operators and mechanics from across the Rockies to put their precision, safety knowledge and technical expertise to the test. Watch as these skilled operators compete for trophies, prizes and above all else, bragging rights!
PRO Tip: Contestant registration is priced at $35. There’s also a 2 for 1 deal where you register and spouses drive the course for free!
Red Bull Soapbox Denver
Where? 2708 Mile High Stadium

Fasten your seat belt and unleash your imagination because Red Bull Soapbox Denver is almost here! Soapbox challenges the most fearless and fun-loving teams to prototype and create the wackiest of rides. Carts will be judged on speed, design and showmanship. There will be 40 teams selected to participate and the course will feature jumps and obstacles that the team will have to navigate in their custom-built, non-motorized carts. This year’s event will be held at Empower Field at Mile High, with gates opening at 11:00 AM and the event starting an hour later. The race is a non-ticketed event and is free to attend, with food and drinks available for purchase. A clear bag policy is in effect.
PRO Tip: Limited on-site parking is available to purchase on a first come, first served basis. $25 per space and credit card only is accepted. Parking lots open at 10:00 AM.
Cat Day

Cat Day at Fiction Beer Company is an annual event supporting Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue. This Sunday, swing by from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM to visit the adoptable kitties and enjoy an afternoon of cat-themed beer, limited edition glassware, local vendors and more feline-friendly fun. This year’s cat beer is a California Common with huckleberry and sage dubbed Feline Sensibilities. The beer will be on tap and glassware will go on sale at 12:00 PM. Fiction Beer Company will donate $2 from each glass sold during Cat Day to the rescue organization. Inside the taproom, guests will also find a small shopping market, with vendors including Sam’s Crumb Cart, Brass Wolf Workshop, Sunshine Whimsy and Hermit and the Moon.

Golden Movies & Music in the Park: Zootopia 2

You won’t want to miss the first Movies & Music in the Park event of summer 2026 this Friday! This is a favorite tradition amongst neighbors, friends and families. Celebrate the incoming summer season with an evening of live entertainment and a movie under the stars. Attendees are encouraged to pack a blanket or short lawn chairs to enjoy a picnic in the park. There will additionally be food available for purchase at on-site food trucks. Dessert will also be available for purchase from Sweet Cream Moo Mobile. Starting at 7:00 PM, enjoy live music by The Man Cubs. The group will be performing Disney favorites. The movie, Zootopia 2, is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
