Colorado Mammoth vs. Las Vegas Desert Dogs

The Colorado Mammoth are facing down the Las Vegas Desert Dogs at Ball Arena this Friday at 7:00 PM. This will be the team’s last regular season home game, so make sure you grab your tickets and show your support. The team has clinched an NLL postseason berth for the 2025-2026 season, which is the team’s first playoff berth in three years! The team is excited to join the Avalanche in postseason play, so stay tuned for additional details.
PRO Tip: The Mammoth will have two more away games to cap off the regular season. Both games will be held on Saturdays (April 11th & 18th) against the Rush and the Roughnecks, respectively.

His presentation will examine Colorado’s role in the railroad, the region’s connection to the Pony Express, and how modern tools like GIS mapping and LiDAR are helping uncover the site’s past through ongoing fieldwork. Rockies Opening Day Party!

Head on over to McGregor Square this Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM for an all day Rockies Opening Day Party! Kick off the 2026 season at Denver’s premier game day destination, situated right across the street from Coors Field. There’s no better place in the city to enjoy the energy of opening day. You’ll catch all the pre-game action on the 66-foot big screen before heading into the stadium. Drink specials will begin at 9:00 AM and a live DJ duo will keep the vibes high throughout the day. This is a free event and no ticket is required.

2026 Colorado Rockies Home Opener Weekend

Celebrate the Rockies at the home opener weekend! Get the season kicked off with a bang as the team opens Coors Field against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Game times are scheduled for 2:10 PM, 6:10 PM, and 1:10 PM, respectively. This weekend will also feature a range of exciting promotions, such as a 2026 Magnetic Schedule giveaway for all fans on Friday, presented by Arrow Electronics and a Jersey Sweatshirt giveaway for the first 15,000 fans on Saturday presented by UCHealth. At Sunday’s game to end the home stand against Philadelphia, there will be an opportunity to snag a few autographs on the 1st base side beginning at 11:40 AM as part of Autograph Sunday. Ecology and Art: Pigments and Geology

Sign up for one of CSU’s Extension Workshops, with this Saturday’s Pigments and Geology workshop being part of the Ecology and Art Series. For $30, attendees can discover the vibrant story that’s written in the rocks beneath your very feet! Join ecologist and artist Erica for a unique workshop that bridges earth science and artistic practice through the fascinating geology of Colorado’s Front Range. Using traditional techniques, the class will create their own natural watercolor pigments directly from these different rock layers by grinding and processing samples representing different geological formations. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of Front Range geology and landscape history, hands-on experience making natural pigments and so much more!
PRO Tip: No prior geology or art experience is required. Just arrive with a curiosity about the landscape and a willingness to get a little dusty! Proper attire is encouraged. This is an all ages class and the schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

79th Easter Sunrise Service

Celebrating nearly 8 decades of Sunrise Service at Red Rocks Amphitheater, this is a favorite annual event for many locals and visitors alike. Make the holiday extra special this Sunday with a spectacular view at an iconic venue. The service is scheduled from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM, with doors opening at 4:45 AM. Watch as the first light of Easter morning touches the beautiful red stone cliffs and as believers gather in the quiet of dawn to remember the miracle that reshaped all of history. For nearly 80 years now, the Colorado Council of Churches has offered this free Easter Sunrise Service as a sacred moment when worship, creation and the hope of resurrection meet.

Colorado Avalanche vs. St. Louis Blues

Sunday’s game will be against the St. Louis Blues at 7:30 PM. Tickets are starting in the low to mid $50s, so grab yours now and make sure to bundle up if you’re sitting by the glass. The team has already clinched a playoff berth for the current season, marking the 9th consecutive season for them! The team is leading the NHL with 106 points, which is largely in part due to Nathan McKinnon’s league-leading 48 goals.

This Saturday, come on out and celebrate Día del Niño with the Butterfly Pavilion. Held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this exciting day is all about animals, fun, culture and discovery. The Pavilion will be partnering with the Mexican Cultural Center for a joyful celebration where children and families can take center stage. The festivities will be hosted at the invertebrate zoo, with activities and programs offered in both English and Spanish. Guests can expect live performances such as traditional dances, lively music and a vibrant mariachi band that’s sure to get you on your feet. There will also be an array of games and crafts, such as a mini piñata that guests can take home as a festive keepsake!
PRO Tip: General admission tickets are priced at $19.45 for adults, with discounts available for seniors ages 65+ and children ages 2 to 12. The day’s festivities are free for Butterfly Pavilion members.
Family Egg Hunt

Hop to it this weekend at the Family Egg Hunt at Denver’s Four Mile Historic Park! Held this Saturday at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM, everyone will have an opportunity to grab a few eggs. Celebrate spring with this egg-citing adventure that the kids will love. Children can hunt in age-specific scrambles as they search for golden eggs hidden throughout the 12 acre park. Additional activities onsite will include tractor rides, meet and greets with the Easter Bunny and DIY Easter bonnets in true Victorian fashion. You also won’t want to miss out on performances by Inspector Magic and Melissa Ivy, or the Victorian egg rolling and croquet. Adults can enjoy cocktails from the Four Mile Bar and the whole family can enjoy food from onsite food trucks and shopping at the Spring Marketplace.

Great Solar System Adventure

Explore the Great Solar System Adventure at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science as you join the showman extraordinaire “The Great Schiaparelli” as he takes the audience on a death-defying space-time adventure within the Observatorium. Audiences will be taken from the sun-scorched surface of Mercury to the icy expanses of Pluto and beyond. This breathtaking tour is intended to reveal just how precious our home planet really is.
PRO Tip: Children ages 0 to 2 don’t need a ticket. There is a limited availability per show, so advance tickets are recommended for everybody else. The runtime of the show is approximately 25 minutes and will be screened at multiple times throughout the day.
