Comedy Works Downtown is hosting Ashley Gavin this weekend! Catch Gavin on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, and act fast — two of the five shows have already sold out! Ashley has been featured on Netflix, Comedy Central, Just for Laughs, and more and has received critical acclaim on her YouTube special. Gavin is popular for her crowd work and has garnered an impressive social media following with her viral show clips. Thursday’s show kicks off the weekend of laughs at 7:30 PM, with tickets ranging from $30 to $45. Gavin will perform two evening shows on both Friday and Saturday as well.
PRO Tip: There is a two-item minimum in effect at the club. Patrons must be 21 and up.
Glowing Wild

The Denver Zoo is pumped about Glowing Wild, which is an all-new, immersive lantern experience that will be lighting up the campus this spring. With 60 unique scenes crafted from over 145 lanterns, guests will be wonderstruck by the gleaming displays that feature flora and fauna from across the world. This evening-only event is an exciting way to see the zoo in a whole new light. Hours for this weekend’s Glowing Wild are scheduled from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. General admission pricing is $26 for adults and seniors and $19 for youth. Ages 2 and under are free. Zoo members receive a discounted admission of $20!

Colorado Auto Show

For over a century, the Denver Auto Show has been a favorite amongst gearheads, industry professionals, and families of all backgrounds! The premier event has now shifted into the Colorado Auto Show and will showcase the latest models of trucks, cars, SUVs, hybrids, and more from both domestic and international manufacturers. Attendees can snag exclusive sneak peeks of concept cars and special editions, while also meeting factory and dealer reps who are ready to answer your questions. Whether you’re shopping for a new ride or you just love all things cars — this is the show for you! With so many car brands under one roof and a pressure-free environment, the auto show is the perfect opportunity to compare prices and features on your next ride.
PRO Tip: Thursday is senior day, with $8 admission for guests 65 and older. Active military members with valid ID get discounted admission every day and Boy Scouts in uniform get in free! Colorado Mineral & Fossil Spring Show 2025

The Colorado Mineral & Fossil Show is coming to Denver’s National Western Complex this weekend. The fun kicks off on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, before wrapping up at 4:00 PM on Sunday. The show will feature geode cracking, gold panning lessons, and a $5 dinosaur dig that the littlest visitors will love! There will also be an array of retail and wholesale dealers. There will be a coffee bar onsite, as well as food options and seating. Admission is free — so swing by anytime and see what treasures await you!
PRO Tip: If you love all things minerals and fossils, mark your calendar for September 5th-13th, 2025. The fall show is going to be bigger and better than ever at an all new location in Northglenn!
Colorado Rockies vs. Washington Nationals

The Colorado Rockies are taking on the Nationals this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The three-day home stand is a can’t-miss for fans, with the fun starting at 6:40 PM on Friday for City Connect Friday. Saturday and Sunday’s games will both be at 1:10 PM, giving fans the whole afternoon to enjoy all things baseball. Savor game day concession favorites such as hot dogs, barbeque, ice cream, burgers, nachos, personal pizzas, and Colorado craft beers!
PRO Tip: Have kids in tow at this weekend’s Rockies games? Check out Dinger’s Playground below the Rockpile inside the Platte River Picnic Area. The play area opens when gates open if there are no private events scheduled.
SchadenBee: Adult Spelling Bee

Bierstadt Lagerhaus is hosting an adult spelling bee this Friday for ages 18 and up! Whether you want to watch from the crowd and laugh at hilarious misspellings or you want to toss your hat in the ring as a contestant — this is sure to be great fun for all! The spelling bee is scheduled from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with doors at 8:30 PM. The best spellers will get some awesome goodies and if you have what it takes to win it all, you’ll be crowned the champ of Adult Spelling Bee and receive all of the bragging rights!

Sublime at Red Rocks Amphitheater

Sublime is taking over Red Rocks this Friday! The concert will feature original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh featuring Jakob Nowell. This iconic American reggae rock and ska punk band hails from Long Beach, California, and formed back in 1988! The band’s lineup remained unchanged until their initial breakup, resulting from the death of the lead vocalist Bradley Nowell. Sublime’s signature sound has resulted in over 17 million units sold worldwide! Catch the reunion of the group with Bradley Nowell’s son, Jakob, taking the reins of lead vocalist.

Bicycle Day 2025

Check out this awe-inspiring late-night takeover by PORTAL at Meow Wolf Denver this Saturday. This immersive, multi-sensory journey will feature roaming performers and plenty of welcoming community members, along with a stacked lineup that includes LP Giobbi, Duncan Trussell and Reggie Watts. Additional activities include black jack, guided meditations, psychedelic photoshoots, and opening remarks from Meow Wolf founder Vince Kadlubek and Veronica Lightning Horse Perez.

Nothing says Easter quite like Denver’s best egg hunt, which boasts over 20,000 eggs ready to be placed into your basket! This Saturday at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM, celebrate the spring season at Four Mile Park with the most egg-citing event of the season. Kids can hunt in age-specific brackets while they keep an eye out for golden eggs placed throughout the 12-acre park. There will also be beloved activities such as tractor rides, Easter Bunny meet and greets, and spring crafts. Enjoy performances by Inspector Magic and the Animal Farm Band or try your hand at Victorian egg rolling and croquet.
