The Great American RV Show

Kickstart the journey from your driveway to the wide-open road by attending The Great American RV Show this weekend at the Colorado Convention Center! Attendees will be able to mingle with representatives, manufacturers, and dealers from across the Centennial State. The 2025 show will feature displays both indoors and outside of the hall, as well as kid’s activities and seminars to keep everybody engaged. Tickets will be available at the door or you can save $3 per person when you order online!

PRO Tip: If you’re ready to buy, you’ll find bigger and better deals at The Great American RV Show than compared to those at dealer-run shows. The third-party nature of the show means dealers want to compete for your business!

Rockies Road Opener Watch Party

Where? 1901 Wazee Street

Catch the Rockies Road Opener at McGregor Square this Friday at 1:00 PM. The MLB is kicking off the season on March 28th and the Rockies will face off against the Rays in Tampa Bay. Sports lovers will be able to watch every swing on the 66-foot LED screen. This is a free event and no ticket is required. Guests can make a free RSVP online ahead of time. There will be a live DJ in the square until 2:00 PM, as well as an appearance by Dinger! Sports fans will also be able to enjoy drink specials and exciting chances to win cool prizes throughout the afternoon.

PRO Tip: The outdoor plaza is situated in the heart of McGregor Square, with 17,000 square feet of space to sprawl out and enjoy. Arrive early and grab your spot while you cheer on the Rockies!

Denver Nuggets vs. Utah Jazz

Whether you’re a season ticket holder for the Nuggets or you’ve never been to an NBA game, this is a must-see event in Denver this weekend! Watch as the home team takes on the Utah Jazz at Ball Arena this Friday at 7:00 PM. For Nuggets games, all guests three years of age or older are required to have a ticket. Children under three may sit on a ticketed guest’s lap.

Each battle pits professional comedians against each other as they compete in a back-and-forth roast-style battle. Laugh with a group of friends this Friday evening and enjoy free pizza! Tickets are priced at $15 per person and the showtime is slated to begin at 11:00 PM, with doors at 10:30 PM.

PRO Tip: There’s no two-item minimum in effect at the club. For the best seats, arrive at the show early. There’s a sizable lot next to the club, as well as additional street parking.

Denver Auto Maintenance Fest ’25

At the Denver Auto Maintenance Fest, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with all of the latest trends, tools, and tech in the industry. The fest will be held in the Expo Hall at Denver’s National Western Complex this Friday and Saturday. Automotive professionals, enthusiasts, and individual vehicle owners who are looking to get educated on the best practices are all welcome at this event. There will be an array of workshops and seminars onsite, giving attendees the chance to get hands-on with interactive topics such as preventative maintenance, electric vehicle care, vehicle diagnostics, and more.

PRO Tip: Secure your spot at the Auto Maintenance Fest by registering ahead of time. The fest will begin with an opening ceremony from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday before exhibitions, demos, and booth engagement begin.

Aurora Polar Plunge & 5K

The Aurora Polar Plunge & 5K is the coolest event of the season, both literally and figuratively! Whether you consider yourself a daring plunger, a fast 5K runner or even a thrill seeker who wants to accomplish both, this event is sure to provide nonstop excitement for all! Dive into the chilly reservoir, dash through the 5K route, or double them up for the ultimate bucket list checklist. After you’re done, check out Vendor Row to enjoy beverages, snacks, and treats, or join in on the epic After Splash Bash at Dry Dock Brewing. Spectators are also more than welcome to join in on the fun and cheer on the action.

PRO Tip: Plungers will receive a long sleeve shirt and 5K racers will receive a hat. 5K registration is priced at $40 ($45 on the day of) and the plunge fundraising minimum is $80 to take the icy dive.

Astronauts Col. Eileen Collins and Cady Coleman Live

Catch Col. Eileen Collins and Cady Coleman at Tattered Cover Book Store this Saturday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This all-ages event is designed to inspire attendees about the experiences of these two pioneering astronauts, both in space and on land. Registration for this event includes your choice of a signed copy of Through the Glass Ceiling to the Stars or Sharing Space OR a $5 gift card to the bookstore. Collins is a former astronaut and retired U.S. Air Force colonel and Coleman boarded a rocket and blasted into space for her third NASA mission, which became a six-month expedition to the International Space Station where she was the only woman on her six-person crew.

PRO Tip: General admission with a gift card is priced at $7.89 and admission with a copy of Through the Glass Ceiling or Sharing Space is priced at $23.85 or $34.16, respectively.

Firehouse Ghosts with Ghost Hunters

Firehouse Ghosts is the Denver Firefighters Museum’s most popular event for adults! If you’re feeling brave, then join the hunt for ghosts in a haunted firehouse. Old Station #1 was built in 1909 and experts and equipment from Mile High Paranormal Investigations will be onsite to see who or what is waiting to be found in the museum! There will be a short presentation before the remainder of the evening kicks off with a paranormal investigation of each floor of the museum. Tickets are required for this event and are priced at $30 each. Call the museum at (303) 892-1436 today to secure yours!

PRO Tip: The ghost hunt will run from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM this Saturday.

Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini is bringing her live tour to the Ball Arena in Denver this Sunday. The concert will feature special guests The Japanese House and MaRynn Taylor. Ballerini is known for songs such as “Half of My Hometown,” “Homecoming Queen,” “Leave Me Again,” and “Peter Pan.” The American singer and songwriter is a five-time Grammy Award nominee and she has five studio albums under her belt, as well as two extended plays, one compilation album, and 14 singles!

PRO Tip: Prohibited items at Ball Arena include external flash camera units, glass containers, laser pointers, sealed bottles of water, outside food and beverage, and certain bags and purses. Guests can bring in clutches, wristlets, and fanny packs sized 4 inches by 6 inches by 1.5 inches or medical and diaper bags that fit a specific size limit.

Family-Friendly Activities in Denver This Weekend
