The Midwinter Bluegrass Festival will be held at the Delta by Marriott in Northglenn. The festival has been around since 1986 and is still going strong! This year’s lineup features Tony Trischka’s Earl Jam, Wood Box Heroes, Sister Sadie, Mike Compton & Joe Newberry, Damn Tall Buildings, and more. The three-day event will also feature beginner jams, bluegrass karaoke, and a variety of workshops in guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, bass, and vocals. There will also be a selection of vendors onsite at the vendor market.
PRO Tip: Three-day passes are priced at $120 for adults and $65 for children ages 6 to 12. Single-day tickets can also be purchased, ranging from $70 to $105. The festival is scheduled to go through 9:00 PM on Sunday!

Jimmy O. Yang: Big & Tall Tour

Jimmy O. Yang is bringing his Big & Tall Tour to the Paramount Theatre this Saturday. Yang is a Hong Kong American-actor and stand-up comedian. He’s best known for starring as Jian-Yang in the HBO comedy series, Silicon Valley, and for his roles in Crazy Rich Asians, Love Hard, and Space Force. His stand-up specials premiered to rave reviews and The Big & Tall Tour will be Yang’s largest tour to date, having already sold out multiple shows at Carnegie Hall and headlining The Forum in Los Angeles.

Colorado Rapids Street Soccer Tournament

The Colorado Rapids are excited to celebrate their 30th season in Major League Soccer with a week of exciting events and popups presented by UCHealth, including a takeover of The Banshee House event space in the RiNo Arts District from February 14th through the 22nd and a Street Soccer Tournament on the 15th. The event is free but team registration is required to participate. There will be street soccer activations from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 4v4 futsal tournament and pickup games.
PRO Tip: Tickets are on sale now for the Rapids match against LAFC in the CONCACAF Champions Cup at the DICK’s Sporting Goods Park on Tuesday the 18th. Fans are encouraged to cheer extra loud to celebrate the club’s return to the prestigious competition.

Celebrate Black History Month with two entertainment-filled Saturdays that are designed to showcase the best of jazz and cultural experiences. This weekend kicks off the fun, which continues on February 22nd from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to dive into live music sessions at iconic venues along Welton Street, including 715 Club, The Marigold, Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center, and more.
