Jason Aldean: Full Throttle Tour

Jason Aldean is hitting the road for his Full Throttle Tour, which is coming to Denver’s Ball Arena this Friday at 7:30 PM. The evening’s lineup will be opened by Nate Smith, RaeLynn, and Dee Jay Silver — so find your seats when doors open at 6:00 PM and get ready for an evening of hits. Aldean is an American country singer known for chart-topping hits such as “Dirt Road Anthem,” “She’s Country,” and “My Kinda Party.” After the Denver date, the tour will head to Salt Lake City, Nashville, Dallas, Charlotte, and beyond before wrapping up in October.

Outdoor Movie Night: Bridesmaids

Catch a screening of Bridesmaids as part of Friday Night Flicks at Infinity Park this weekend. Invite a few friends out for what’s sure to be a hilarious night under the stars. Bridesmaids is the type of movie that even if you’ve seen it a dozen times, the outrageous moments and wedding party chaos are still just as funny! The film is rated R, so parents should use discretion. Guests are permitted to bring blankets and lawn chairs. There will be complimentary parking in the P1 lot. Gates open at 7:30 PM and the movie starts an hour later. Local food trucks will be onsite and guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks.
PRO Tip: New accessibility features include captions on the ribbon board, as well as a sensory room that is open during movie nights to provide a calm space for anyone needing a relaxed environment.
Downtown Parker Wine Walks

On the final Fridays of the month, partake in one of Parker’s favorite summer traditions – Wine Walks! Gather your closest friends and family and enjoy the beautiful evening air in Downtown Parker while you sip on wine and peruse local merchants. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 (plus tax) or you can buy them at the door for $30 (plus tax). The walk kicks off at 4:30 PM, beginning at the chamber office where you can pick up your wristband, a commemorative glass, and a map. Participating merchants this year include Petit Parker, The Juniper on Main, Pinetree Jewelers, Poor Richard’s Book Shoppe, Interior Delights, and many more.
PRO Tip: Wine Walks will continue through September, so enjoy these final three walks while you can!
CAAMP
Where? 6350 Greenwood Plaza Boulevard

CAAMP is coming to Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater this Saturday at 7:00 PM with special guests Whitney and Bummers. CAAMP is an American indie folk band known for their warm, heartfelt sound and introspective lyrics. The band has released several albums, including By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022. Snag your tickets and enjoy their “beautiful noise” at the outdoor venue.
PRO Tip: $1 from every ticket sold to the show will benefit The Great Heights Movement. Established by the band in 2022, the Movement supports charitable programs primarily in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Cottonwood Throwdown

This Saturday, watch a riveting corn hole tournament at McGregor Square from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM! Cottonwood Throwdown is an annual charity corn hole tournament for Denver area professionals. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM, at which point there will be an opportunity to network over a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar to kick off the festivities. Event highlights include food provided by Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta, drinks from Molson Coors, and music by 5280 Mobile DJ. There will also be a silent auction, fun side games, and more. 100% of the proceeds will go towards benefiting Cottonwood Institute students.

RiNo Summer Art Market

The July RiNo Summer Art Market is scheduled from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the RiNo ArtPark. The event is hosted by Fireside at Five and the market will feature 50 local artists, along with tasty bites, drinks, arts and crafts, live music, and more. Jam out with a live DJ set from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with Bimbonita and a live performance from Blessing Bled Chimanga from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. There will also be mini squeegee art at the free craft station, with attendees under 14 requiring an accompanying adult to participate.
PRO Tip: There will be a DIY screen printing station for the first 200 attendees inside Truss House, so arrive early!
Aurora’s Day of Resilience

2025 will mark the 10th year of Aurora’s Day of Resilience. Held each year near the 7/20 Memorial, the event is a day of remembrance, as well as an opportunity for community renewal and connection. The event invites survivors, families, first responders, mental health advocates, and supporters to come together for a day of healing and reflection. This year’s event will feature The Hero Journey 5K and Kids Run, as well as a festival featuring live music, chalk art murals, a wellness fair, and a welcoming beer garden and a selection of food trucks.
PRO Tip: The event is free to attend and will be held from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM on the Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn. No registration is required.
The 12th Cheesman Park Art Fest
Where? 1599 East 8th Avenue

With 150+ artists and craftsmen from across the country showcasing their work this Saturday in Denver, you won’t want to skip the 12th Annual Cheesman Park Art Fest. Each July, the fest displays a wide array of mediums and price points. The fest will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both days, with street parking available along the north lane of 8th Avenue. Bike racks and free bike parking will also be available. This is a juried event, with handmade and American-made work being sold directly by the artists. The fest also includes jazz and folk music by both local and regional favorites, such as the Delta Sonics, Oscar Butler, the Daniella Katzir Trio, and more.
PRO Tip: Make sure to arrive hungry! There will be plenty of local food trucks onsite, covering the basis from savory to sweet.
Colorado Craft Walk

This Sunday, head on over to Dairy Block for the Colorado Craft Walk. The walk will take place between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Tickets include samples from Colorado’s top wine, beer, and spirits brands, as well as a commemorative tasting glass and opportunities to meet and talk with the people behind the craft. Whether you consider yourself a wine connoisseur or just a casual spirit enthusiast, the Colorado Craft Walk is a great opportunity to explore the heart of Colorado’s craft scene as top makers come together to showcase their finest work.

Disability Pride Celebration

The Clyfford Still Museum is celebrating disability pride this Sunday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, so swing by the museum’s outdoor forecourt for hands-on activities. The museum is marking the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act by offering drop-in fun designed for all ages and abilities. American Sign Language interpreters will be available. Educator Sarah Childers will be onsite and participants will have the opportunity to repurpose everyday materials into a homemade balloon rocket. Various community partners will also be in attendance, such as the Limb Preservation Foundation, Guided by Humanity, and Canine Partners of the Rockies.

Instrument Creation

The Ross-Cherry Creek Branch Library is hosting an Instrument Creation program this Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Kiddos are invited to come and check out all of the musical instruments at the library, as well as participate in creating one of their very own. Participants will also explore how music plays an integral role in brain development. The program is designed for early learners ages 0 to 5, with parents and guardians encouraged to participate in the fun as well.

Block Party at The Kirkland

The Block Party at The Kirkland will be held this Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Celebrate The Kirkland joining the Denver Art Museum at this free and family-friendly neighborhood party. The Free Day will feature art making, food, musical performances, and much more in Denver’s Golden Triangle. Attendees will receive free general admission for all ages, as well as access to The Kirkland Spotlight Talks and pop-up shops on Bannock Street. There will be face painting and food trucks on site, such as Colfax and Cream, Kary’s Rolling Café, Lily’s Cocina, and more. The lineup for music includes the Stephen Brooks Jazz Trio, Halle Tomlinson, the Tina Phillips Trio, and more.
PRO Tip: The Block Party event will include a road closure on Bannock Street between West 12th Avenue and West 13th Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Arapahoe County Fair

The Arapahoe County Fair is a must-do for area families this summer! Hailing as one of the best bargains of the summer, admission ($25 + $3 convenience fee) covers unlimited carnival rides, free parking, fireworks, onstage entertainment, concerts, rodeos, and much, much more! Children under 36″ get free admission to the fair, though they can’t ride the carnival rides for safety reasons. However, the day can still be well spent at the Heritage Hall, Petting Farm, Toddler Town, and Kids Corral for no charge. CPRA Rodeo events will be held on Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 4:00 PM.
PRO Tip: The fair will run from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Friday and Saturday and from 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM on Sunday.
