2026 U.S. Olympic Team Trials — Mixed Doubles Curling

Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette is excited to host the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Mixed Doubles Curling this Sunday. Overall, eight teams will be competing to represent the United States at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games. The winning team at the trials will also be representing their country at the 2025 Mixed Doubles World Championship in New Brunswick, Canada this spring. Friday will have a morning competition, as well as a tiebreaker in the afternoon if needed before the Page Playoff at 7:00 PM. Semifinals are scheduled beginning at noon on Saturday and finals continue through Sunday evening.
PRO Tip: This year’s host location in the Denver metro area marks the first time the trials have been held outside of Minnesota, so be sure to come out to support the hopeful teams as they showcase their skills.

Walker boasts over 50 billion audio and video streams worldwide. The 24-year-old has already made a lasting imprint on the music scene and continues to do so as he tours. Popular singles by the musician include “Faded,” “All Falls Down,” “Darkside,” and more. He has also collaborated with global artists such as Noah Cyrus and Ava Max and remixed music from artists such as Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Kygo, and more.

18th Annual Rocky Mountain Thyagaraja Utsavam

The 18th Annual Rocky Mountain Thyagaraja Utsavam will feature classical music from India & South Asia. “Utsavam” means festival and the roots of this celebration go back centuries to honor the music of Thyagaraja, who was an 18th-century composer widely considered to be one of the greatest composers in the genre. This Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Parsons Theatre in Northglenn, audiences can enjoy this annual celebration of classical musical talent in the state of Colorado. This event is organized by the Colorado Fine Arts Association and general admission tickets are complimentary.

4th Annual 90s Party

Everyone is invited to experience this year’s Winterfest, which is a free outdoor multi-cultural celebration on Saturday in the heart of Olde Town Arvada. This year’s location is new, as Winterfest has previously been held at Mcllvoy Park. Since its debut in 2018, Winterfest has continued to highlight the rich variety of cultures throughout the community and encourage attendees to learn about arts, culture, and entertainment. Winterfest is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Live cultural performances will include a mariachi band, Polynesian dancers, and the ever-popular dragon and lion dances! Additionally, there will be live ice sculpting, vendors, food trucks, and a beer garden that benefits the Olde Town Business Improvement District.
PRO Tip: This year, Winterfest is partnering with the Jefferson County Public Library in Olde Town for story times and educational activities.
Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The Nuggets will compete against the Lakers this Saturday at Denver’s Ball Arena. The game tips off at 6:30 PM and tickets are still available starting in the low $200s. Catch newly traded Luka Dončić wearing the Lakers jersey in Denver and cheer on your favorite Nuggets players, such as Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray, and Russell Westbrook as he makes his recent return after a hamstring injury.
PRO Tip: The upcoming Nuggets schedule includes a 4-game away trip following the Lakers matchup before the team returns to Denver to play the Sacramento Kings on March 5th and the Phoenix Suns on the 7th.
Cupid’s Undie Run

Each February, thousands of undie runners across the United States come together, both in person and virtually, to support those affected by neurofibromatosis (NF). NF is a group of genetic disorders that causes tumors to grow on nerves, which can then affect the brain, spinal cord, and other parts of the body. Cupid’s Undie Run begins with drinking and dancing, followed by a jog of about a mile, and then ends with an epic dance party! This year’s fundraising goal is set at $135,000. Saturday’s run starts at 2:00 PM and the event itself will go from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
PRO Tip: Participants can register as an individual or join a team. Individual registrations require the person to be 21 and up and are priced at $45 per person.
Nic Clark Band

Dazzle is welcoming the Nic Clark Band this Saturday. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the show kicks off an hour later. This is an all-ages event, so little ones are welcome to enjoy this singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Nic Clark first gained recognition as a world-class harmonica player in his early teens. He has since developed his unique presence as a guitarist, as well as a vocalist. Clark’s latest album, Everybody’s Buddy, was nominated for Best Emerging Artist Album at the 2024 Blues Music Awards.
PRO Tip: There is a minimum purchase of two food or beverage items per person at the venue. Donations can be added to ticket purchases to support MusicCares and musicians affected by the California wildfires.

The Denver Children’s Theatre is excited to present Charlotte’s Web, a beloved tale adapted by Joseph Robinette from the book by E.B. White. School performance will be held at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center from February 20th through the 28th Monday through Friday at 11:00 AM. The play length is 45 minutes and has been deemed suitable for grades Pre-K through 5th. This Sunday’s public performance is a SCFD Free Day & Accessibility Day at 10:00 AM at the Elaine Wolf Theatre. Additional public performances are scheduled for March 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 10:00 AM. Families can save on tickets and enjoy the timeless tale of Wilbur the pig and his extraordinary friendship with Charlotte, a wise spider.
