42nd Annual Shakespeare Festival<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Every April, the Denver Public Schools Shakespeare Festival is a sight to behold. 5,000+ students from 75 schools across the area attend the festival and don theatrical costumes. This day-long festival is held in Downtown Denver and provides opportunities for students from kindergarten through high school to perform scenes and sonnets from the works of William Shakespeare. The festival will include a short parade down the 16th Street Mall to the DCPA stages. This is a nationally recognized festival and is one of only two sites to have received the coveted Folders Library Shakespeare Stewardship Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRO Tip:<\/strong> This Friday, check out the fun from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Denver Arts Complex with an opening ceremony at Skyline Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
