When? <\/strong>September 7th<\/p>\n\n\n\nEnjoy an afternoon spent outdoors at DeLaney Farm this Sunday! Tour the historic property while you learn about homesteading and early Aurora history. This is an all ages event and admission is free. There will be crafts, snacks and even scavenger hunts in the education barn! Families can enjoy tours of Gully House and the Round Barn. The area was originally used by the DeLaney family, who were Irish immigrants, to raise horses, dairy cattle and other livestock. The family homesteaded in Aurora in the late 19th century. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
PRO Tip: <\/strong>Families should plan to spend at least 45 to 90 minutes at the farm.
