When?<\/strong> March 1st<\/p>\n\n\n\nSecond Star to the Right Children’s Books is hosting author\/illustrator Saki Tanaka as she presents her newest book, Nimbus Plays Alone! A brief description of the book outlines Nimbus as a cloud who loves life in the sky and playing peekaboo with the Sun and raining on the Ground below. However, can Nimbus learn to play with the other clouds? Tanaka was born in Japan and grew up moving around the globe, which taught her how to become the “new kid” every few years. The Mexican-Japanese artist is now based in Colorado and uses her past experiences to make outsiders feel good about being themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
