Stand-Up Magic

Head over to Infinite Monkey Theorem this Friday for a show produced by Denver native, Max Davidson, and Scotty Wiese. Stand-Up Magic is coming every month to Denver, so if you can’t make it to October’s show — there’s always November! The lineup is an epic mix of magic, mentalism, and comedy that you won’t want to miss. Doors open at 7:30 PM and the show kicks off at 8:00 PM. No food is available to purchase on-premises, so pregame with a dinner out or grab a bite afterward. Wine is made on-site, so you can sip on a glass while you take in the acts. The show is designed for an 18 and up crowd, though there is no legal age restriction.

Above & Beyond @ Red Rocks

Above & Beyond, also known as Jono, Tony, and Paavo, are known for their international fan base and their unique brand of electronic dance movement. The group has earned two Grammy nominations for anthems like “Northern Soul” ft. Richard Bedford and “We’re All We Need” ft. Zoë Johnston. Altogether, the group has put out 4 acclaimed studio albums, 14 compilation albums, 2 acoustic albums, and a stand-alone album for yoga and meditation. There have also been a vast number of club cuts and dance remixes produced from their work.

Free Day at Four Mile Historic Park

Each month on the 4th Friday, Denver’s Four Mile Historic Park hosts a free general admission day. October’s date has been scheduled for Friday the 25th, so make sure to come by and take advantage of your monthly free day. Free general admission is only applicable during the park’s normal hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and does not include admission to signature events and programs. Four Mile Historic Park provides a gateway to Denver’s Western heritage, featuring a 12-acre oasis with a working farm and the city’s oldest standing structure — the Four Mile House Museum, which is home to an extensive collection of mid to late 1800s Western artifacts.

PRO Tip: Won’t be able to make it out this Friday? There are still two more free days for the 2024 season at the park! November’s date is the 22nd and December’s is TBD.

Global Dance Supernatural Festival 2024

The sinister lineup will perform across multiple stages, including sets by Kaskade, San Holo, Jessica Audiffred, SAYMYNAME, and more. The music festival will take place at the National Western Complex in Denver and tickets are on sale starting at $79 plus fees for general admission — tier 3. Denver Witches’ Ball 2024

2024 marks the 32nd annual Denver Witches’ Ball. From 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the Highlands Event Center of Denver, get ready to party until the early morning hours with all of your witchy friends. Since alcohol is served at the event, IDs will be checked at the door and those under 21 will have an X marked on their hands. The ballroom will have a concession stand with snacks, coffee, and cupcakes and there will be food truck options available as well. Themed apparel is encouraged (though not required), so wear costumes, formal attire, ritual garb, or anything witchy.

PRO Tip: Kids 10 and under are still free this year and children ages 11 to 16 are still $5. Cash is appreciated and credit and debit cards are accepted. There will be tickets available at the door but you can save money when you purchase them early!

Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos

Enjoy the fall weather at Empower Field this Sunday as you cheer on touchdowns by the Denver Broncos as they fight to beat the Carolina Panthers. Sunday’s game kicks off early at 2:25 PM, so it’s perfect for parents wanting to bring the kids out without complicating the bedtime routine. There are still seats available in the 500 section, as well as options in the 300s if you want to be closer to the action.

PRO Tip: When tailgating before games, one permit equals one space for one vehicle. Fans can’t occupy parking spaces with grills, tables, etc, and drive aisles need to be kept clear at all times. Parties should conclude 60 minutes prior to kickoff.

Families are welcome and costumes are encouraged. This is Halloween, after all! This event takes place in Boettcher Concert Hall. Before the concert, take advantage of family-friendly activities and a themed craft. No additional purchase is necessary and all ages are welcome. Bones, Bats, Boo! Halloween Family Overnight

At this exciting overnight activity at Denver’s Museum of Nature & Science, families will get to experience hands-on science, crafts, and more. At the end of the evening, snuggle up for story time and enjoy an enchanting show in the Gates Planetarium. Families can tuck in at night amongst the animals in the world-famous diorama halls. Your tickets to the Bones, Bats, Boo event include a pizza and salad dinner, an evening snack, and a hot breakfast when you wake up. This is sure to be a spooktacularly fun time for everyone. Tickets are priced at $100 for adult members and $90 for youth members, ages 3 to 18. Non-members are welcome to attend as well, with tickets priced at $120 and $110 for adults and youth, respectively.

Halloween Spooktacular

This family-friendly concert invites all the boys, girls, and ghouls to enjoy music from familiar film scores and classic favorites. Costumes are encouraged, so don your best superhero suit or dress like one of your favorite characters. Submit your favorite Halloween photos and crafts to be displayed on-screen during the performance. The conductor of the Halloween Spooktacular concert is Wilbur Lin and the repertoire will include a range of songs such as “Sally’s Song” from The Nightmare Before Christmas, “Let It Go” from Frozen, “Rey’s Theme” from Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and many more.

PRO Tip: As part of the Family Series, the Halloween Spooktacular performance has been designed for families with young children. These programs are shorter than typical symphony performances, lasting 60-90 minutes including an intermission.
