KissFist Mural Fest 

Where? 1900 35th Street

The KissFist Mural Fest is a one-of-a-kind non profit event celebrating the deaf community. This Friday through Sunday, enjoy bold, beautiful 4×8-foot murals being painted live over three days. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to watch the artwork unfold in real time, all while conversing with the artists and relaxing in a space that’s inclusive, accessible and family-friendly. The festival will take place in the RiNo ArtPark from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Mural auctions will open on Saturday, so you’ll have a chance to bid on pieces that speak to you!

PRO Tip: Additional activities and festivities at the mural fest include a deaf artisan market on Saturday, face painting and more. Dogs are welcome.

Colorado Rapids vs. Los Angeles Football Club

Where? 6000 Victory Way
When? October 18th

Grab your tickets now to catch the Colorado Rapids as they take on the Los Angeles Football Club at DICK’S Sporting Good Park in Commerce City this Saturday. The game is scheduled for 7:00 PM, with gates opening at 6:00 PM. Parking is included with Rapids tickets, giving you one less thing to worry about. The professional soccer club competes in Major League Soccer as a member of the Western Conference. Cheer on the team as they fight for the win at home!

Colorado Uncorked 

Where? 1200 North Broadway 
When? October 18th

Colorado Uncorked will offer attendees a chance to taste the 2025 Governor’s Cup Collection at the beautiful History Colorado Center. The wine will be paired with a thoughtfully curated small bite menu, prepared by some of Colorado’s most celebrated chefs. General admission tickets are on sale now for $75, which includes entry at 7:00 PM. The Best in Show winner will be announced at 8:30 PM, followed by a last pour at 9:00 PM. Grab your tickets here!

PRO Tip: VIP tickets are on sale for $145 and include entry at 6:00 PM for exclusive access to the collection wines, followed by a 7:00 PM sampling of winners from previous years and a more extensive food offering. 

Golden FestiFall

Where? 725 10th Street

What is the Golden FestiFall you might ask? Well, it takes all of the highlights of the Golden Beer Tasting and Chili Cook Off and combines them! The FestiFall is a more family-friendly, community-focused event held in Parfet Park from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Guests can enjoy an afternoon of beer samples, food samples, entertainment, snack vendors and much more! The event is presented by the Coors Distributing Company and the Golden Chamber of Commerce. In total, the event will showcase 25+ breweries and 100+ brands. Breweries and brands include New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, Athletic, Mad Macks, New Terrain, and many more. Arrive hungry because the food sample lineup is packed, with Skywalker Chili, Colorado Cookie Company, Miso Heat, Mount Vernon Canyon Club and many more offering delicious samples.

Party in the Plaza

Party in the Plaza is presented by Southwest Airlines and is marketed as a lively daytime celebration at Writer Square. Dive into the fun of this Biennial Festival with interactive art inspired by the festival’s exhibitions and cultural programming. The party will feature music, art and community spirit — as all good parties do! The community is invited to hang out in the heart of downtown to celebrate local talent, cultural experiences, performances, live music and more from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Rhythm and Brass: A Latin Jazz Fiesta

Turn up the heat this weekend at this high-octane celebration of salsa music and the infectious rhythms that bring Latin music to life. This Latin Jazz Fiesta is going to be an electrifying experience that showcases the vibrant, exciting fusion of Afro-Caribbean beats, jazz harmonies and the power of the CJRO big band. The group is known as a powerhouse for pushing boundaries and creating bold, new sounds. If you’re new to the genre, expect blazing horns, driving percussion and irresistible grooves. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself dancing and grooving the night away! The fiesta is presented by the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, featuring Marion Powers on vocals at the Main Stage Theatre this Saturday at 7:30 PM.

Tennyson Fall Fest 

Where? Tennyson Street (from West 41st to West 43rd Avenues)
When? October 18th

The Tennyson Fall Fest is back this weekend! Enjoy a packed schedule of live music, shopping, food vendors and much more. Swing by anytime from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday to grab a bite, jam out by the stage or just hang out with friends. There will be a pet parade from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, so bring Fido along for the fun as well. To close out the afternoon, Tennyson Heartstrings will perform a two hour set. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs for the grass so they can comfortably enjoy the entertainment. The festival is free to attend and reusable bags are encouraged if you plan to shop. There will also be designated bike parking if you plan to ride to the fest!

Colorado Avalanche vs. Boston Bruins

Nothing beats a weekend hockey game in Denver! Cheer on the home team as they face off against the Boston Bruins this Saturday at Ball Arena. Will Wedgewood be in net to block shots with finesse? Will MacKinnon be on fire all night? You won’t know unless you grab tickets! Cheer extra loud for the team as they attempt to protect their home ice from the visitors. Arrive early to find your seat, grab a cold beverage and dig into an order of hot mini donuts!

Denver Bazaar at Larimer Square

The Larimer Square Bazaar is a can’t-miss weekend event this Sunday. Hailing as Denver’s favorite pop-up market, local makers will be onsite in the historic Larimer Square offering a great opportunity to shop small businesses and craft creators. The Bazaar is hosted every third Sunday through October, so make this one count! Enjoy free entry, patio cocktails and local shopping all in one convenient place from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Attendees can even listen to live vinyl sets for unmatched vibes as they stroll around one of the city’s best free events!

PRO Tip: The lineup features a rotation of 30+ local vendors and the bazaar is dog and family-friendly. Kick back and relax on one of the patios while you sip a craft cocktail and enjoy the sounds of a live DJ spinning vinyl.

Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants

Catch the Broncos game this Sunday to see if the team can extend their three-game winning streak! The home team will face down the New York Giants at Empower Field at Mile High, with a start time scheduled for 2:05 PM. Gates will open at 12:00 PM and lots at 9:30 AM, so arrive early to tailgate before the game! High traffic is expected, so pre-purchase an onsite parking permit to skip the hassle. 

PRO Tip: Swing by Mane Street presented by Ford in front of gates 9 and 10 for interactive activities, food, drinks and music before the game!

Kid’s Entrepreneur Market

Where? East 38th Place

Don’t skip the last Market in the Park of the season! Held this Sunday in Winged Melody Park in nearby Aurora, you’ll find young entrepreneurs selling an assortment of unique goods and items. The Children’s Entrepreneur Market is an award-winning program designed to teach young people about the power of entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership through experiential and hands-on learning. With approximately 500 patrons expected, it’s best to arrive early for the best selection! The market will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, preceded by a check-in between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM for market vendors and participating families/children.

PRO Tip: The park features free carousel rides! Hop aboard and take a spin or two after you shop the market. 

Pumpkin Harvest Festival

Where? 715 South Forest Street 
When? October 18th & 19th

This Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, enjoy the event that was named the 2022 Family Favorite by the Colorado Parent Magazine and the 2023 runner-up! Four Mile Historic Park is hosting the Pumpkin Harvest Festival once again, so come on out and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of fall in Denver. Let the kids take the reins and pick out the perfect pumpkin or shop for a holiday treasure in the marketplace (with 40+ vendors)! Live music and performances will take place on the Autumn Harvest Community Stage and there will be an array of seasonal favorite treats, such as apple cider donuts. Yum!

PRO Tip: Grab your tickets here! Adult general admission is priced at $25, with youth admission at $15. Optional add-ons include the Build-Your-Own Scarecrow activity for $30!

Treat Street

You’re in for a real treat this weekend if you visit the Arapahoe County Scaregrounds. This Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, grab your tickets for an afternoon you won’t soon forget. 2025 event highlights include interactive inflatables, a petting farm, a family-friendly Halloween stage show, costume contests with prizes, a haunted maze, a pumpkin patch and a Spooky Sprint Obstacle course. That’s not even all of the weekend’s activities, either! Kiddos can also enjoy trick or treating from 40+ local business and partner booths, as well as delicious food options like Campfire Hotdog Grill, El Buen Taquito, Slim Chickens and much more.

PRO Tip: Children ages 2 and under are free. Pre-sale tickets are priced at $10 and will increase to $12 on the day of the event (both online and in person).

Painted Planes & Pumpkins

Head on over to the Exploration of Flight at the Centennial Airport this Sunday for Painted Planes and Pumpkins! This exciting seasonal event is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and is shaping up to be a day of fun, creativity and discovery at the hangar. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the stunning artistry of aircraft designs up close, while also partaking in a pumpkin painting activity to ring in the autumn and Halloween season. There will additionally be a special presentation at 1:00 PM by Wings’ curator, Stewart Bailey, as he discusses “Flying Colors: The Art of Being Seen.” Snag your admission to Sunday’s event here!
