Colorado Potters Guild Fall Sale

Where? 3501 South Colorado Boulevard 
When? November 6th-8th 

The Colorado Potter’s Guild Fall Show and Sale will be held at the First Plymouth Congregational Church in Englewood this weekend, from 5:00 PM on Thursday through 6:00 PM on Saturday. This is a semi-annual sale, offering a variety of functional pottery, sculpture, holiday ornaments, planters and artwork made by the guild’s 40 members. The show will be staffed by member artists who can help you search for the right piece and explain the variety of techniques on display. Patrons are invited to browse thousands of unique, locally made pieces of artwork. 

PRO Tip: New work will be added daily, as only a limited portion of each artists’ inventory can be displayed at once. Swing by each day to see if there’s something special with your name on it! 

Dia De Los Muertos Colfax Art Crawl

Where? 6501 West Colfax Avenue 
When? November 7th 

Día de los Muertos is a deeply rooted tradition and a time to celebrate life, pay tribute to ancestors and embrace the rich storytelling of the Latinx and Indigenous communities. Head to the Colfax Art Crawl this weekend to wander through vibrantly colored and adorned altars decorated with photos, candles, and marigolds. Each altar tells a story of those who came before us. This is a prime opportunity to experience the beauty of Catrina-inspired art, catch live performances and participate in interactive exhibits that highlight the integral connections between past and present. The art crawl will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM this Friday.

PRO Tip: This is a free event to attend and no reservations are necessary. 40 West Arts District is in nearby Lakewood.

Denver Nuggets Home Games

Where? 1000 Chopper Circle 
When? November 7th & 8th 

The Denver Nuggets are playing against the Golden State Warriors this Friday at 8:00 PM, followed by a match up against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday at 7:00 PM. Both games will be played at Ball Arena, so grab your tickets now and cheer on the home team as they defend the court against the visiting teams. Doors will open an hour before the game, so arrive early to grab some concessions and get to your seats before game time! Additional arena policies and rules can be found here

PRO Tip: Promotions for this weekend’s games include NBA Cup Group Play on Friday and Military Appreciation Night on Saturday. 

Denver Arts Week

It’s that time of the year again! Denver Arts Week is back and celebrating the arts and culture scene in the Mile High City with hundreds of exciting events across the city. Kicking off the weekend with First Friday Art Walks in Denver’s creative neighborhoods, followed by awesome free entry into area museums — Denver Arts Week is fun for all! On Friday, check out Día de los Muertos celebrations, contemporary exhibits and hands-on creative experiences for all ages across the 40 West Arts District, RiNo, Tennyson Berkeley, Santa Fe and the Aurora Cultural Arts District. Embrace all things creativity this week as you delve into museums, galleries, and how to embrace the mind and body connection through creative expression!

Night at the Museums

When? November 8th 

This Saturday, get ready to experience Denver’s top museums like never before. More than a dozen of the city’s best museums and cultural institutions will stay open later (5:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and offer free admission to visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore world-class exhibits, as well as to discover hidden gems. There will be complimentary shuttles that make it a breeze to hop between locations and to maximize your evening without the hassle of driving and parking at each stop. Participating museums and locations this Saturday include the Clyfford Still Museum, the Children’s Museum of Denver, the Denver Art Museum, the Denver Botanic Gardens, Dinosaur Ridge, the Forney Museum of Transportation, the History Colorado Center, Four Mile Historic Park, Wings Over the Rockies, Museo de las Americas and many more. 

PRO Tip: Check out the shuttle routes here! The last shuttles will depart at 10:00 PM from all museums. 

12th Annual Scotch Tasting

Where? 4150 East Shangri La Drive 
When? November 8th 

The 12th Annual Scotch Tasting will be an evening of elegance and indulgence, hosted by the Colorado Health Network this Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This exclusive event will take place at the Cableland Mansion, which is the official residence of the Mayor of Denver. Get ready to immerse yourself in a curated selection of single malt scotches from across the globe. The scotch selection has been expertly chosen by Davidson’s Beer, Wine, and Spirits. There will also be hors d’oeuvres from Larimer Catering to pair with your samples. Guests will receive a keepsake engraved Glencairn tasting glass. Additional evening fun will include a silent auction, live entertainment by the Skylark Jazz Trio, and a cigar bar. 

PRO Tip: Buy your tickets here! All proceeds from the event will go towards benefitting the Colorado Health Network’s Denver Food Bank, which provides for the nutritional needs of people living with HIV.

Autumn Harvest Craft & Art Walk

The Autumn Harvest Craft & Art Walk will be a festive evening at Denver’s Milk Market in the heart of downtown. There will be a curated lineup of local artists, crafters and makers, as well as a diverse selection of gifts, food and handmade creations that make for the perfect gifts this holiday season. The lively atmosphere makes for a great stroll as you shop, mingle and explore! The craft and art walk will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and no tickets are required. The walk is organized by Elevate Vendor Events.

Denver Fashion Week: Fall 2025

Denver Fashion Week is one of the most anticipated events of the year and it’s finally here! Renowned as Colorado’s premier fashion extravaganza, Denver Fashion Week has captured the attention of industry giants such as Forbes Magazine and ELLE. This season, the High Altitude Runway Show will debut with cutting-edge winter collections inspired by alpine luxury and après-ski style. The highly popular Western Runway Show will also be returning, presented by About Skin. Additional shows this season include Sustainable Fashion presented by Furniture Row, Youth & Mommy & Me, Streetwear & Sneakers, Maximalism and Society. 

PRO Tip: Denver Fashion Week expects to draw thousands of fashion lovers who are eager to experience innovative collections from both emerging and established designers. The show will also be showcasing top salons, stylists, makeup artists and models.

Cat Fest Colorado

Cat Fest Colorado is coming to Denver’s National Western Complex this weekend. Admission is priced at $20 and kids ages 5 and younger get in free. VIP tickets are also available, which include early entry, upfront seating and a souvenir cat ear headband. Advance tickets are encouraged. The lineup for this year’s fest includes cat adoption booths, cat-themed vendors, costume contests, free face painting, and much more. New this year will be kitten yoga, so be sure to check it out. Make a toy for your kitty at the Creation Station or swing by the Cat Video Cafe for plenty of laughs. Cat Fest Colorado is proud to have helped to adopt 379 cats since 2022! Show your support this year so more feline friends can find their furr-ever home.

PRO Tip: Save the date for the next Cat Fest, which will be held at the Ranch Event Complex in Loveland on March 21st, 2026!

Family-Friendly Activities in Denver This Weekend

There’s no time for boredom this weekend! Spend quality time with the family at the Butterfly Pavilion where you can learn about the fascinating monarchs or hit up Parker Science Night for hands-on fun for all ages.

Art from Ashes: First Friday Youth Performances

Where? 1310 West 10th Avenue 
When? November 7th 

Youth poets ages 12 to 24 will be performing at the First Friday Youth Performance at Art from Ashes this weekend. The organization will be hosting a youth workshop at 5:00 PM, followed by a performance opportunity from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Participating poets from the workshop will have the chance to showcase their work to the public. Art from Ashes is dedicated to providing creative empowerment workshops to high-risk youth to facilitate expression, connection and transformation. To date, Art from Ashes has provided creative workshops with almost 200 partnering organizations for 14,000+ young people. Come show your support and let the youth know that their voices are heard!

PRO Tip: This event is open to the public. Community members are invited and encouraged to cheer on these courageous youth poets as they share their work. 

Parker Science Night

Where? 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue 
When? November 9th

Parker Arts is excited to be hosting Science Night this Sunday! This is an all ages event and fun for the whole family, though specifically geared towards elementary-aged kiddos and their families. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Science Night will be in full swing at the PACE Center. Unleash your curiosity and explore the fascinating world of science, technology and engineering with hands-on activities and exhibits. Each classroom and booth will feature interactive, science-related activities with special guests from Cave of the Winds, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and more. 

PRO Tip: The time slot from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM is already full but there’s still space remaining for 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM! Admission is free but please RSVP to attend. 

Butterfly Pavilion’s Monarch Magic

Where? 6252 West 104th Avenue 
When? Through November 30th 

Monarch Magic is returning this November to the Butterfly Pavilion! Come celebrate the magic of the monarchs with this special exhibition that features the release of these majestic butterflies within the “Wings of the Tropics” butterfly conservatory. The monarchs will live amongst the thousands of other butterflies that call the zoo home. Monarch Magic is a month-long exhibition that blends the ecological importance of monarchs with the significance that they hold in Mexican culture. While visiting this November exhibition, you can also learn more about how to add native plants to your garden to help sustain the monarchs on their migration journey, as well as participate in community science projects. 

PRO Tip: While inside Wings of the Tropics, guests can stop by the community altar or “ofrenda” for Día de los Muertos and leave a note for a loved one who has passed.
