Colorado Rockies Pride Night

The Rockies are taking on the New York Mets this weekend, with a three-game series kicking off on Friday at 6:40 PM! With the purchase of a special ticket package, fans can receive limited-edition Rockies-themed Pride sunglasses on Friday. A portion of each ticket package will go towards The Center on Colfax, which is the state’s largest LGBTQIA+ resource and community center, and One Colorado, which is the state’s leading advocacy organization. Packages start at $32, including fees. Fans who purchase Friday’s special Pride ticket package will receive distribution information ahead of the game.

PRO Tip: Saturday’s game will feature a Brenton Doyle bobblehead giveaway for the first 15,000 fans and on Sunday, fans will have the chance to get an autograph from select players and/or coaches before the game.

First Friday Jazz in the Park

Head to Cousins Plaza in Sonny Lawson Park this Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM for Jazz in the Park. This is a monthly event that’s scheduled for the first Friday of the month from May through November 2025 and there is no admission or ticket needed. There will be street vendors in the area, along 24th Street between Welton and California. Festivities will kick off with happy hour before continuing down Welton for more jazz all evening long!

PRO Tip: Attendees are welcome to bring folding chairs, blankets, and snacks with them to enjoy the sweet tunes this Friday.

Outdoor Movie Night — Road House

Where? 4599 East Tennessee Avenue
When? June 6th

Catch a screening of Road House this Friday at Infinity Park! This cult classic is rated R. Gates are scheduled to open at 7:30 PM and the film will start an hour later at 8:30 PM. Friday Night Flicks are a popular summertime event and for good reason! This ultimate outdoor movie experience is free and guests are welcome to bring comfy lawn chairs and blankets to relax on the field. Free parking is available in the P1 lot. There will be a variety of local food trucks on site and the Try Club features a full bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks, so long as there are no glass containers.

PRO Tip: No animals are allowed in the stadium or on the field, with the exception of service animals.

June Colfax Art Crawl

The 40 West Arts creative district offers residents and visitors alike a unique experience that blends art and culture. This Friday, participate in the June Colfax Art Crawl for Month of Pride from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This vibrant Pride celebration will feature the annual street party that brings together the local community for an inclusive celebration filled with color, joy, and genuine connection. Art galleries and studios will be open to the public, completely free of charge! There will be a special emphasis on showcasing LGBTQ+ artists and allies. Expect a night of interactive experiences, hands-on craft tables, community mural paintings, and live artist demos!

PRO Tip: 40 West Arts is family-friendly, with all ages welcome to join in on the fun! Free parking will also be available throughout the district.

First Friday Jazz Hop

Experience the soul of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood at the First Friday Jazz Hop. What better way to ring in the first Friday in June than with an evening jam-packed with local musicians along the venues situated on Welton Street. The Jazz Hop is free and open to all. The June 6th lineup features performers such as Hex Kitten from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pairadice, Danette Hollowell & the Good Guys from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Sonny Lawson Park, Dommy Tumont from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the 715 Club and more.

PRO Tip: The businesses of Five Points offer visitors an array of dining, shopping, and recreational options. Grab a bite to eat or a drink or two while you enjoy the smooth jazz tunes this Friday!

15th Annual Spring Yarn Community Event

Yarn Shoppe Denver is hosting their 15th Annual Spring Yarn Community event this Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM To 4:00 PM! This annual spring fiber arts event allows locals to shop from other local indie yarn dyers and fiber artisans. Take advantage of the BOGO sale deals or buy one locally hand-dyed yarn and get one half off. When you buy two, you get one free! Featured artisans at this weekend’s event will include Knitted Designs by CaFaBa, Brown Sheep Wool Co., Vintage Handbags Denver, and more. There will be daily door prizes, as well as exciting giveaways.

Lit Fest 2025

Lit Fest will kick off this Friday and run through next Friday, giving you eight days to celebrate writers and readers alike. This weeklong extravaganza will feature advanced workshops, craft seminars, readings, business panels, agent meetings, and even parties! Attendees can select workshops and events à la carte style or they can sign up for one of the festival passes for a more complete experience. Visiting authors for the 2025 Lit Fest include fiction writers such as Steve Almond, Mat Johnson, Helen Phillips, and more. Nonfiction authors include names such as Nicole Chung, Eileen Myles, Clair Dederer, and several others. There will even be poets in attendance!

Colorado Rapids vs. Austin FC

The Colorado Rapids play out of nearby Commerce City at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The team is an American professional soccer club that competes in Major League Soccer as a member of the Western Conference. The Rapids are facing off against Austin FC this Saturday at 7:30 PM, so snag your tickets today and cheer on the home team as loud as you can! Tickets start for as little as $29, so invite some friends or bring the family out to catch what’s sure to be an exciting match.

Guard and Grace Rosé Party

Guard and Grace Denver is hosting a Rosé Party this Saturday for guests ages 21 and up. Join the festive celebration for National Rosé Day at one of the best restaurants in town! Guests can sample 50+ wines from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, ranging from rosé (of course), to white, orange, and sparkling wine from over 15 vendors. There will additionally be tasty bites and appetizers to keep the party fueled. Tickets are priced at $140 per person and they’re going fast! Make sure to snag yours while they’re still available.

Urban Market at Denver Union Station

Sunday Funday Tailgate Party: Opening Day

Several times a year, the Denver Polo Club opens its gates to the general public as part of the Sunday Funday series. Watch all of the action from the sidelines as you tailgate and mingle at the outdoor cocktail bar from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Horses will thunder by at 35 miles per hour while players battle for the ball in this competitive match that’s exciting to watch. This Sunday, there will be a performance by the Westernaires and food trucks will be onsite for some tasty grub. Land Rover Denver will also be in attendance with a sip of complimentary Prosecco!

PRO Tip: Grab the shuttle from Denver or Castle Rock for Sunday Funday. Pick-up is scheduled for 10:00 AM and will leave the club at 2:30 PM. Add in a shuttle ride with your ticket purchase so you don’t need to worry about transportation.

June Pay-What-You-Wish Day

Clyfford Still Museum is hosting another Pay-What-You-Wish Day this Friday. These select days run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and allow patrons to visit the museum for as little as one penny on the first Friday of the month! Check out one of the free mini-tours at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The tours will engage the curiosity and imaginations of visitors, with rotating themes each month so there’s always something new to explore! All ages are welcome and the tours will meet in the museum lobby.

PRO Tip: Online reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome as well. Mark your calendar for July’s pay-what-you-wish day, which will be held on Thursday the 3rd due to the July 4th holiday.

58th Annual Denver Greek Festival

You won’t want to miss out on Denver’s largest cultural festival. This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, take advantage of the 58th annual Greek Festival. This family-friendly event features authentic Greek food, the immersive sounds of live Greek music, and even traditional dance entertainment. Swing by the boutique to admire Hellenic art, paintings, sculptures, and beautiful jewelry straight from Greece. Denver Chalk Art Festival

This weekend, take the family to Denver’s most colorful event! Running from Saturday to Sunday, the Denver Chalk Art Festival is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and is completely free to attend. The festival will be held in Denver’s Golden Triangle neighborhood, which is situated two blocks south of Civic Center Park. With over 200 artists participating, there will be plenty of groovy artwork to admire. Featured artists at this year’s festival include Dawn Wagner, Julie Kirk Purcell, Chris Carlson, Steve DeOrio, and Mark Hollenbeck.

PRO Tip: The festival will take place rain or shine! In the event of rain, artists will pause their work and resume once the ground has dried out again.
