Dana Day in Larimer Square is an all new tradition this Saturday. From 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, dive into one of the newest annual celebrations in town. Attendees will enjoy live jazz music throughout the afternoon, including headliner DARUMA with support from the Ryan Benthall Quintet and the Stephen Brooks Group. Additional activities throughout the day will include dancing in the streets, food and drink options, and heartfelt tributes to the incredible legacy of Dana Crawford. Beverages and bites in the street will be offered from Emerald Eye, Garage Sale Vintage, NADC Burger, Corridor 44, and more.

Party in the Paseo with Cooldown Running

This Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, join Market Station and Cooldown Running for a Party in the Paseo at BASECAMP. Cooldown Running is a national social run club, with chapters across 15 cities! Saturday’s Party in the Paseo is one of two events, with the second one scheduled for September 20th. The deets for this weekend’s event include a scenic 5K through Larimer Square and Cherry Creek Trail, looping you back to the party. Post-run shenanigans include a live DJ set from Something Vinyl Club and local food trucks for some good eats so you can refuel. There will also be drinks offered by Sipp Hospitality and interactive activations, as well as local vendors and exciting pop-ups from running, outdoor, and wellness partners.

All American 4 & 8 Mile

The All-American 4 & 8 Mile includes a kids’ dash, a 1-mile run, and a virtual race option for those who want to run at a more relaxed pace. This annual outdoor event is scheduled for 8:00 AM on Saturday and celebrates all things patriotic at Westfield Village Park in nearby Westminster. Grab your friends and family and get registered. Don’t forget to pick up your awesome finisher medal at the end of the race. Kiddos can enjoy an untimed dash of their own, which is designed for children ages 10 and under.

Alabama Shakes @ Red Rocks

Alabama Shakes is coming to Red Rocks Amphitheater this Sunday at 8:00 PM with special guest Lee Fields. Alabama Shakes is an American rock band well known for their powerful blend of folk, blues, classic rock, and soul. The band formed back in 2009 in Athens, Alabama, and features lead singer Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, drummer Steve Johnson, and bassist Zac Cockrell. Doors open at 6:30 PM, so arrive early to get settled and grab a drink or a bite to eat.

26th Annual Donor Dash

Donor Dash 2025 is a great opportunity to get outdoors and support a good cause this Sunday. Held at Washington Park in Denver, this 5K run/walk is one of the most meaningful events of the year. The dash is dedicated to honoring and celebrating those who have been impacted by organ and tissue donation. Registration is open, so sign up today and show your support! There will be an opportunity to submit a photo and a short message discussing your connection to organ and tissue donation, which will then be displayed on a video board on race day. Registration fees are priced at $44.79 through Thursday, July 17th for adults ages 18 to 59, with discounted rates offered to seniors and youth participants.
PRO Tip: The 5K run/walk is scheduled for 8:00 AM on Sunday, followed by a recognition ceremony at 9:30 AM. There will be limited parking at South High School and street parking in the surrounding area.
Hozier: Unreal Unearth Tour 2025

Hozier is bringing his Unreal Unearth Tour to DICK’S Sporting Goods Park this Sunday at 7:30 PM. Born Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, the Irish musician is known for drawing from the folk, soul, and blues genres. Having released hit songs such as Take Me to Church, Work Song, Cherry Wine, and Too Sweet, Hozier delights fans with his moving performances and impressive live vocals. Sunday’s show will feature special guest Gigi Perez.

City Park Jazz: Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra

The Colorado Rockies are playing the Minnesota Twins at home for a three-game series this weekend, kicking off on Friday at 6:40 PM. CMU fans, staff, students, and alumni can show off their Mavs pride with the Colorado Mesa University ticket package, which includes a limited-edition CMU Mavericks-themed Rockies hat. Saturday’s 6:10 PM game is the 11th annual Star Wars Night and fans who buy the Star Wars ticket package can snag an exclusive Star Wars-themed Rockies t-shirt. The performance follows FUTURE and her best friend, a dog named Ewai, as they stumble upon CUBE, which sets in motion a riveting journey of life, discovery, hope, and empathy. ECHO is coming to life on tour this summer, so snag your tickets ASAP to one of the performances at Denver’s Ball Arena Under the Big Top.
