Biergarten Bash

Celebrate the grand opening of an all-new biergarten at this Friday’s Biergarten Bash with Bierstadt Lager! This fun-filled evening will be complete with live music, delicious eats, and of course — plenty of ice-cold lager. Come raise a glass with Bierstadt Lager at this momentous occasion in their history and make sure to stick around for Talia Tucker’s Musical Bingo, which is a late night edition scheduled for 9:00 PM in the Bierhalle. Along with the typical shenanigans that you can expect from a grand opening, visitors can also enjoy buckets of Helles Lager in special edition 19-ounce Patio Pounder cans.

PRO Tip: Tickets to the Biergarten Bash are free! Festivities are scheduled from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

James Taylor & His All-Star Band @ Red Rocks

James Taylor is coming to Red Rocks this Friday and Saturday with His All-Star Band! Enjoy an evening with the legend himself at this iconic venue as you sing along to popular hits like “Fire and Rain,” “How Sweet It Is,” “New Tune,” and many more. The American singer-songwriter has won six Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. This weekend’s shows will feature special guest Tiny Habits, so make sure you don’t miss the opening act!

The Boozy Book Fair

Where? 76 Broadway Street
When? June 14th

Second Star to the Right Bookstore is hosting The Boozy Book Fair this Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM at The Hornet. 10% of proceeds from the fair will go towards supporting Burning Through Pages, which is a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to the advocacy of reading and writing for city youth. General admission to the book fair is free but make sure to RSVP here. Shop books while you mingle with community members and support local restaurants by sipping on tasty drinks.

Chris Fairbanks @ Denver Comedy Underground

When? June 14th

Chris Fairbanks is making four appearances at Denver Comedy Underground this weekend, kicking things off at 7:30 PM this Friday. Fairbanks is known for delighting audiences for over 20 years at comedy clubs across the country, as well as on Comedy Central, TBS, Fox, Amazon, and more. Hailing as one of the best comedy clubs that the Mile High City has to offer, Denver Comedy Underground brings the best stand-up comedy to the stage every week. There are no two-item minimum requirements but there is free pizza! General admission tickets are priced at $22.50, which includes fees.

PRO Tip: Arrive at the show early to snag the best seats. There is a sizable parking lot next to the venue, as well as street parking.

Colorado Rapids vs. Orlando City SC

When? June 14th

The Colorado Rapids are taking on Orlando City this Saturday at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. The game begins at 7:30 PM, so make sure to arrive early to grab your snacks and drinks and to get settled into your seat. Tickets begin at $32.15, with seats still available in the general admission supporters section and throughout the 100 sections.

PRO Tip: When purchasing tickets for Colorado Rapids home games, a parking fee is already included. Parking attendants will be onsite for directions to surrounding lots.

Denver Duel Day

The inaugural Duel Day Fitness Race is a can’t-miss event this Saturday in Denver’s McGregor Square. From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, participate in this one-of-a-kind race that is designed to test both your endurance and strength. The event starts and ends in the square, taking participants on a dynamic journey to three local gyms with a designated workout at each. Athletes will face challenges such as push-ups, assault bikes, wall balls, kettlebell swings, and more. If you think you have what it takes, sign up here! The Gold Package is priced at $50 and includes five weeks of free group fitness classes, plus a Duel Day t-shirt. You can also snag a Team Package for $75 to compete with a group of three.

PRO Tip: Want to hear the twist? There’s no set route. Athletes must navigate their own path to the gyms!

Father’s Day Fun Run

Where? Piney Creek Hollow Park

Celebrate Father’s Day with a Fun Run that’s sure to be as memorable as it is beautiful. Head to Piney Creek Hollow Park in nearby Centennial to accomplish something special with Dad. All ages are welcome to run or walk, with participants under 18 required to run with a guardian. Swag bags include a running t-shirt, a finisher’s towel, a finisher’s medal, and a digital training pack. Waves start at 7:30 AM and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The final wave leaves at 8:30 AM.

PRO Tip: Every dad will receive a special mini tool kit to take home after the Father’s Day Fun Run!

Smash Fine Arts Festival

The Smash Fine Arts Festival Spring Show is rolling around this weekend, sponsored by Cherry Creek North. The 2025 festivals will be hosted in the premier Fillmore Plaza, which is situated in the heart of Cherry Creek North. This is a highly curated outdoor fine-art exhibit that showcases renowned national artists, as well as live acoustic music, including violin and piano, throughout the weekend. 2025 marks the 7th straight year in the CCN District, which is a hot spot nationwide for top-shelf art. Come on out and enjoy this cultivated experience and maybe even find a piece that speaks to you!

The Denver Street Fairs: Father’s Day Weekend

Invite Dad out to the Denver Street Fairs this weekend to commemorate his special day! This Saturday and Sunday, join the community for an exciting free event that will be held in front of Coors Field. Whether you love all things handmade art or local shopping, the street fair has a little something for everybody. There will be a diverse selection of handmade artists and vendors showcasing their locally crafted goods, such as jewelry, clothing, home decor, bath and body products and so much more! Patrons can listen to live music as they stroll through the outdoor marketplace and snack on bites from the best of Denver’s food trucks.

PRO Tip: The scheduled hours for the Denver Street Fair are set between 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Sunday.

Juneteenth Music Festival

This Sunday, Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood will be transforming into a hub of entertainment and celebration to honor Juneteenth. This day commemorates the date when the last of the nation’s enslaved people learned of their freedom, making it a momentous occasion worthy of celebration! This year, Juvenile will be performing a free show live at the Juneteenth Music Festival. There will be 100+ vendors onsite, as well as Denver’s longest-running parade that dates back to the 1950s! Nearly 5,000 people are expected to march in the Juneteenth Parade, which kicks off the street festival activities and performances.

Post Malone @ Empower Field at Mile High

Post Malone is bringing his newest tour to Empower Field at Mile High this Sunday at 6:30 PM! Gates open at 5:30 PM, so arrive early to get settled before the concert kicks off. Jam along to singles from Malone’s most recent album titled “F-1 Trillion,” which was released in August 2024 and features radio hits like “I Had Some Help,” “Pour Me a Drink,” “What Don’t Belong to Me” and many more.

PRO Tip: Sunday’s show will feature special guest Jelly Roll, along with opening acts from Wyatt Flores and Chandler Walters.

Family-Friendly Activities in Denver This Weekend

If your kids are into all things aviation and space, then a trip to one of the Wings Over the Rockies locations is in order this weekend! If your family prefers the laid-back vibes of an outdoor concert, then head to the Clyfford Still Museum for a relaxing evening picnic.

Build It! Miniature Cat Tower

This Friday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, check out an exciting rendition of Build It! This weekend, participants will be crafting a miniature cat tower/cat tree. Make your very own mini cat tree for your dollhouse or desk, with step-by-step instructions from start to finish. The best news? Your project will include a miniature cat! Whether you’re an avid miniaturist or you’re just getting into the hobby, this is an exciting project that’s sure to delight cat lovers of all skill levels! Guests under 16 require adult supervision. Accompanying adult tickets are priced at $5 for parents or guardians who don’t wish to work on a project of their own.

Summer Music Picnic Series: René Moffatt

The Clyfford Still Museum is excited to host a Summer Music Picnic Series, which features René Moffatt this Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM! Pack up your favorite picnic treats and enjoy live music as you unwind after a long week. Head to the museum’s outdoor forecourt on the second Friday of the month through August this summer for a diverse showcase of musical talent! This is a free, family-friendly series so bring the kids out. The museum will be open with a discounted $5 admission rate for adults and registration is not required.

PRO Tip: There will be food and beverage options available for purchase at the event. Due to a limited number of chairs being available, arrive early to snag a good spot!

39th Annual Fire Truck Parade & Muster

Where? 5900 South Santa Fe
When? June 14th

Mile High Hook & Ladder works to preserve America’s rich firefighting history and the annual Fire Truck Parade & Muster is a great time to celebrate these heroes! This is the club’s main event, which is traditionally held on Father’s Day weekend in Littleton. This is a free, family-friendly community event that kicks off with a parade of antique and modern fire rescue apparatus down Main Street, followed by a muster at Arapahoe Community College.

PRO Tip: Want to continue the fun? Mile High Hook & Ladder participates in parades in the Metro Denver area throughout the year, with “pump-ins” at least twice a year. These events involve members pumping and spraying water from their antique trucks!

Dad’s Free Day @ Wings Over the Rockies

When? June 15th

This Father’s Day, make sure Dad knows how special he is with a trip to the Air & Space Museum. All dads will receive free admission to both Wings locations this Sunday, so make sure to take advantage! Invite the whole family out to explore captivating exhibits and learn all about historic aircraft, all while experiencing interactive activities that showcase the wonders of aviation and space. Hours range from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at both the museum and Exploration of Flight at the Centennial Airport.

PRO Tip: Families are encouraged to pre-purchase their tickets online. Free admission for dads will be available at check-in.
