Denver Postcard & Paper Show

Where? 7390 West Hampden Avenue
When? January 17th & 18th

The Denver Postcard & Paper Show will be held at the Holiday Inn in Lakewood. Show hours kick off on Friday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and continue on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is priced at $5. If you want to get an early bird head start on the general public, enter the show an hour early on Friday for $20. The Denver Postcard & Paper Show was founded back in 2001 and is featured twice a year — once in January and again in July. Enjoy the friendly faces and the diverse variety of merchandise at every show. Whether you’re an avid antique fan or you enjoy collecting postcards, there’s a little something for everyone here! Door prizes at this event will be contributed by dealers. Typically, prizes feature spending certificates that can be used at the dealer’s booth! Food will be available onsite and there will be ample parking.

2025 Denver Boat Show

Where? 700 14th Street
When? January 17th-19th

The 2025 Denver Boat Show is being presented by the Colorado Marine Dealers Association at the Colorado Convention Center. The show is the state’s largest boating show, filled to the brim with exhibitors and family fun. Whether you’re in the market for boats, watercraft, accessories, or more — you’ll find it all in one convenient location! Browse local dealerships, manufacturers, and boat types to find your dream boat today! 2025 dealers and exhibitors include the Colorado Boat Center, Action Watersports, Great Lakes Marine, Rocky Mountain Boat Company, Tri-City Cycle, Denver Custom Boatworks, and many more.

PRO Tip: When attendees buy one ticket, they get one free for Friday’s show. Tickets are on sale for $16.50 and children under the age of 16, as well as active military members, get in free.

Aprés Skate Silent Disco

Where? 1901 Wazee Street
When? January 18th

This weekend’s Aprés Skate Silent Disco at McGregor Square is one you won’t want to miss. From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, enjoy an ice rink dance party with your best friends and the new ones that you haven’t met yet! Throw on your ski suit and get ready to jam out to retro mixes and modern hits from two live DJs! Tickets are priced at $30 and include a silent disco headset, an ice skate rental, rink admission, and one free drink provided by Milepost Zero. This is a 21 and up event and ID will be required.

PRO Tip: Valet and self-parking can be accessed at the corner of 20th and Wazee. If the garage is full, additional parking can be found across the street at The Dairy Block garage.

The Official Onesie Bar Crawl

Where? 2706 Larimer Street
When? January 18th

Bundle up this Saturday and get ready for The Official Onesie Bar Crawl in Denver. This is a 21-and-up event hosted by Crawl With US. From 4:00 PM to midnight, kick off the fun at American Bonded. There will be a required check-in before the fun can begin. Bring your closest group of drinking buddies along for the ride and make sure you don’t miss out on the after-party from 10:00 PM to 11:59 PM! Tickets include 2-3 drinks or shots, no cover at all bars, exclusive drink and food specials, and a custom onesie bar crawl badge with vouchers.

The Body Mind Spirit Expo

The Body Mind Spirit Expo is coming to the North Denver Metro area this weekend on Saturday and Sunday at the Adams County Fairgrounds — Exhibit Hall. Tickets are on sale for $12, so grab yours and get your year started with intention at what’s sure to be a transformative event. Attendees will discover tools for personal growth, healing, and manifestation. Over 85 vendors will be onsite, with intuitive readers and spiritual guides who will help you on your journey to wellness and spiritual awakening. Ben Schwartz & Friends

Ben Schwartz is coming to Denver’s Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre this weekend, presented by Comedy Works. On Sunday at 7:00 PM, watch as Shwartz and some of his friends create a totally improvised show onstage. Nothing is prepared beforehand and every word is made up on the spot, creating a totally unique experience for every city on the tour. The comedy act continues to sell out venues around the world, including Radio City Music Hall and the Eventim Apollo in England — so grab your tickets now! Balcony tickets are on sale for as little as $52.95, which includes fees. If you want to get closer to the action, orchestra tickets are still available starting at $74.10.

Polar Bear 5K

Where? South Franklin Street & East Mississippi Avenue

Grab your running sneakers and a friend or two to race in the annual Polar Bear 5K this Sunday! Participants will enjoy chill refreshments at the finish line. There will be a free kids fun run — a 200-meter run for those 8 and under. There will even be a special appearance by Polie the Polar Bear! Sebastian Maniscalco: It Ain’t Right Tour

Sebastian Maniscalco is coming to Denver’s Ball Arena this weekend for his hilarious comedy tour – It Ain’t Right! Tickets are on sale for the 7:00 PM performance, starting as low as $67.50. Whether you’re familiar with Maniscalco’s work or you’re looking to experience your first-ever comedy show, it’s sure to be a ball for the audience! The Chicago-area-born, Italian-immigrant-raised stand-up comic and actor is best known for his six comedy specials that have solidified him as the reigning kind of physical comedy.

PRO Tip: Credit/debit cards are accepted at all Toyota Ball Arena parking lots for all events. Cash payments can be accepted at the Tundra lot for an additional charge of $5. Ball Arena visitors will be prompted to purchase parking in advance after buying event tickets via ticketmaster.com.

National Western Stock Show

Where? 4600 North Humboldt Street
When? Through January 26th

This weekend’s festivities at the National Western Stock Show kick off with the USEF Hunter/Jumper Show at 7:00 AM. If you don’t want to arrive bright and early, evening events include the Monarch Casino Gambler’s Choice and the Pro Rodeo at 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM, respectively. Other weekend fun includes the CSU Performance at the rodeo, live bands, the Junior Market goat show, swing and line dancing, trick and fancy ropers, and much more!

PRO Tip: Due to construction, there are changes to the parking at the stock show this year. Free parking and shuttles are available from Coors Field, with shuttles running every 15 minutes. Lots are open from 8:00 AM until one hour after the last rodeo lets out.

McGregor Square can be referred to as Denver’s downtown playground. Spanning an entire block, the square includes The Rally Hotel, various restaurants, retail outlets, and an expansive food hall — all circling an impressive 17,000 square-foot plaza complete with a stadium-sized LED screen. The seasonal ice skating rink hosts various themed events, with some being adult-only outings such as this weekend’s Aprés Skate Silent Disco. However, families are invited to head over to Milepost Zero this Friday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM to take advantage of half-off skating in a onesie.

PRO Tip: Participants will receive discounted skate rentals and admission, as well as free N/A hot chocolate from Milepost Zero, free Dippin’ Dots from Peak-A-Boo Toys, and more awesome deals!

T. Rex 3D

Where? 2001 Colorado Boulevard

Check out the Denver Museum of Nature & Science’s state-of-the-art giant screen theatre, the Infinity Theatre! Experience the “Greatest of All Tyrants” as it roars to life on the giant screen. For well over a century, the T. rex has reigned as the undisputed king of the dinosaurs. Now, with state-of-the-art CGI technology and cutting-edge paleontological insights, audiences can enjoy an unprecedented journey into the world of T. Rex and its fellow carnivores. The museum features scientists from Denver’s very own Museum of Nature & Science as they unearth a teenage T. rex.

PRO Tip: In order to access the Infinity Theatre, guests will need a valid museum admission for that day.

Mary Poppins

When? January 17th-February 9th

You won’t want to miss Mary Poppins’ opening weekend at Parker’s PACE Center. Tickets for all ages start at $40 and the show is set to run on weekends through early February, so there’s still plenty of time to catch the performance if this weekend doesn’t work. Mary Poppins is everyone’s favorite nanny and she’s capturing hearts onstage in a whole new way — as a practically perfect musical! Using a combination of magic and common sense, Mary Poppins teaches the troubled Banks family how to value each other again. She takes young Jane and Michael on a magical and memorable adventure and advises them that “anything can happen if you let it.”

PRO Tip: Friday’s debut showtime is scheduled for 7:30 PM and Saturday will feature an earlier show at 2:00 PM, as well as the evening one. Sunday will have one afternoon showing to cap off the opening weekend schedule. Limited seats are available.
