This is Denver’s only sake brewery, making it the area’s premier destination for craft sake and Japanese cuisine. There will be four flavored sakes and chocolate bonbons on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. When purchasing your tickets, you’ll be prompted to choose your time slot. Bring your date to the taproom to sample the unique sake and chocolate combinations across your 1.5-hour reservation. The event is hosted by the head chocolatier of the Colorado Cocoa Pod. Pair your tasting with something off of the Izakaya menu, which includes sashimi, steamed dumplings, shrimp wontons, and of course — more sake!

Valentine’s Weekend with Ian Lara

Enjoy an evening of laughs with Ian Lara this Valentine’s Day at Comedy Works Downtown. Grab your tickets for the 7:30 PM show or the 9:45 PM show on Valentine’s or kick off your festivities on Thursday at 7:30 PM. This is a 21 and up event and tickets are priced at $25 for singles or $74 for the “Sweet on You” package which includes two tickets and a heart-shaped box of chocolate. Want to splurge on your date? Get the “Funny Valentine” package with a dozen roses for $99 or the “Casanova” for $124 which includes both roses and chocolates! Ian Lara is one of the hottest rising comics in NYC after finding internet success when he recorded his Comedy Central Stand Up, which garnered over 10 million views.

Theme Party: Valentine’s Day

Fortissimo Dueling Pianos in Denver is having a special Valentine’s event this weekend. General Admission prices are set at $10 and the music kicks off from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Table reservations for Friday and Saturday are encouraged and cost $25-$30. Table reservations guarantee seating near the entertainment, as well as room to eat and drink. There will be a special Valentine’s Day food and drink menu in addition to the regular offering, all of which will be available for purchase. General Admission tables are on a first-come, first-served basis — which is perfect for those looking to have a quick drink and watch the show for a bit. Fortissimo Dueling Pianos welcomes guests of all ages. IDs must be presented upon entry and guests under 21 will have their hands marked and must leave by 10:00 PM.
PRO Tip: If you’re driving into downtown Denver, you’ll need to find meter parking, a pay lot, or a parking garage. Fortissimo does not have dedicated parking.
Early Valentine’s Day Date

Grab your tickets for Painting with a Twist in LoDo for this Valentine’s Day-themed date night. This is an 18 and up event and prices are between $45-$55 per person, depending on what type of canvas you opt to create your masterpiece on. The class is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. You can also opt to try something new and create your own long-lasting, all-natural scented soy candle with 24 amazing scent options before you paint. If you plan on making a candle, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the class start time. Candles will be ready to take home after class. Outside alcohol is not allowed in the state of Colorado. There will be a selection of wine, beer, and a few mixed drinks for sale at the Bomber Bar.

Cupid’s Delight Valentine Burlesque

The menu at the cabaret includes savory snacks such as chicken cheese sliders, the Mediterranean plate, and the brat & sausage platter, as well as sweet treats like cheesecake and chocolate toffee mousse cake. Pieces will have an aerial accompaniment for added visual interest. Midwinter Bluegrass Festival

The Midwinter Bluegrass Festival is THE kickoff event to the Colorado bluegrass festival season since 1986. There will be a killer lineup this year with international and 2025 Grammy nominated headliners Tony Trischka’s Earl Jam, Wood Box Heroes and Sister Sadie along with national touring acts Mike Compton & Joe Newberry, Damn Tall Buildings and regional favorite Colorado acts like Blue Canyon Boys, Jake Leg and more. Bluegrass Karaoke with a live backing band returns on Saturday late night at 10:00 PM in the bar if you want to sing a song for a special someone! Advance tickets are on sale, starting at $70 for a single-day Friday admission or $120 for a three-day pass. Discounted kid’s tickets are available for ages 6 to 12. The festival continues through 9:00 PM Sunday night, so keep the good time rolling after Valentine’s Day! Informal picking jams spring up all over the hotel for musicians and fans alike.
