Spring Equinox Celebration

The Spring Equinox Celebration will be hosted by Second Star at the Right Bookstore on March 17th, 2024. Over 20 vendors will attend the Hello Spring Pop-Up at Denver’s Gypsy House Cafe, so swing by for a fun afternoon of shopping in an inclusive and fun space. Some of the vendors in attendance include Healing Ink, CityScape Knits, No Loose Ends, MSC Creations and Design, and TLC Sourdough. Gypsy Rose Cafe is a local coffee shop, with a relaxed artistic atmosphere that’s perfect for studying, working remotely, or socializing. Aside from their diverse menu options of coffee and tea, there is also a selection of Mediterranean dishes available to patrons.

Body Mind Spirit Celebration

The Body Mind Spirit Celebration will be hosted in Denver across a span of three days, from March 15th through the 17th. Anybody interested in learning more about the holistic lifestyle will have the opportunity to experience this legendary Denver celebration at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center. There will be 255 booths and a whopping 75 performers and 110 psychics and healers. This celebration travels the country, including stops in Sacramento, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Beach. Colorado Children’s Chorale: 50 Years of Brilliance

On April 20th, the Colorado Children’s Chorale is excited to present 50 Years of Brilliance. Hosted at the Boettcher Concert Hall, this is an exciting spring event to bring the entire family to. Doors open at noon and the performance is set to begin at 1:00 PM. Chorale favorites include “The Trail” by alumni Aron Accurso and Adam Overett and a medley from “Matilda: Musical” specifically arranged by Gary Fry. The event will be a touching tribute to the past five decades, as the chorale celebrates alumni, parents, and all of the friends and family who have made each performance possible.

The Highlands Ranch Community Association is excited to announce the Spring Craft Bazaar. This one-of-a-kind marketplace will feature over 100 vendors, selling an array of handmade, unique, and local items that make great home decor and gifts. Browse the marketplace and admire photography, original artwork, sculptures, ceramic creations, gourmet food options, jewelry, and precious gems. The bazaar will be held at the Eastridge Recreation Center and admission is free and open to the general public.

Spring Break at Colorado Railroad Museum

Parent/Child Spring Fly Fishing Class

Shredder Fly Fishing is excited to host five weekly sessions where parents and children can learn fly fishing basics. This family-friendly activity is a great way to get outside and enjoy a new hobby with the little ones. The spring classes are designated to suit ages 3-10 and at least one parent. Each week will feature the following: an intro to fly fishing gear, the basic casting techniques, how to choose the appropriate flies, tying basic fishing knots, and how to target fish. The spring session runs from April 21st, 2024 through May 19th, 2024 with a make up class on Saturday, May 25th.
PRO Tip: No gear or experience is required. Fishing rods, reels, and lines will be provided for both the child and the adult.
Spring (Break) into Adventure!

Belmar Library is excited to host a week’s worth of fun and imaginative activities for the kiddos. Beginning on March 18th, the adventure begins. Children are invited to travel to distant lands with crafts and games. Each day is themed, with fun activities like Beach in a Bottle, Fantastical Fairy Garden, Popsicle Stick Boat Race, and Treasure Hunt. Friday, March 22nd is the movie day and kiddos can enjoy a relaxing afternoon of watching The Rescuers Down Under. Each day begins at 1:00 PM and wraps up by 3:00 PM, giving parents a break in the afternoon while still allowing families plenty of free time for spring break activities!

Spring Break Youth Pottery

This spring, Ceramics in the City is excited to host their spring break pottery course. From 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, children aged 10 to 13 will be able to create something on the wheel. Friendly and experienced staff will be available to help students design their masterpiece. Classes are priced at $120 and include everything your child needs to be successful. The best part? Staff will take care of firing and glazing! Families can come back at a later date to pick up the commemorative piece. This pottery class is a great way for kiddos to pick up a new skill, make new friends, and bring home a beautiful piece of art.
