Glendale 4th of July Spectacular (July 2nd!)
Where? 950 South Birch Street
Glendale is kicking the party off a couple of days early! This spectacular event will be hosted at Infinity Park and gates open at 6:30 PM. There will be a screening of the movie “Independence Day” at 7:00 PM and fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30 PM. There will be a few food trucks on site if you need a bite to eat.
PRO Tip: The event capacity is 4,000 and there will be limited stadium seating. Arrive early to secure your spot and get comfortable before the movie begins!
Brighton Stars & Stripes Celebration (July 3rd!)
Where? 9755 Henderson Road
Kick off your Independence Day celebration a day early in Brighton! The Stars & Stripes event kicks off at 4:00 PM at Riverdale Regional Park and includes a free concert and a fireworks show. Beer vendors will be serving beverages and Thomas Mac will be performing country tunes. Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM.
PRO Tip: Organizers ask that for the safety of everybody in attendance and the comfort of your pet, all animals be left at home. Visitors are also reminded that most fireworks are illegal in the county โ so leave the show to the pros.
Indy Eve at Civic Center Park (July 3rd!)
Where? 101 14th Avenue
The Indy Eve event has been reimagined for 2024! The city of Denver is presenting an interactive experience for guests, featuring the city’s largest drone show and the launch of the Civic Center Night Market. The market will include food offerings, an artisan market, and a family zone with games and family-friendly activities. Attendees will enjoy music from emerging young DJs, as well as a live performance from the Colorado Symphony Brass & Percussion Ensemble.
PRO Tip: The best vantage point for the drone show is on Civic Center’s Great Lawn and South Lawn. There will be over 300 drones flying above Lincoln Veterans Memorial Park.
Erie Fireworks Show (July 3rd!)
Where? 450 Powers Street
The 2024 Erie Independence Day event is presented by Vista Ridge Academy and is scheduled for July 3rd. The event kicks off at 6:00 PM and is set to wrap up around 10:00 PM at Erie Community Park. Fireworks will be launched from the rooftop of the community center at 9:00 PM. Food trucks and vendors will be onsite, so make sure to arrive early so you can explore the offerings.
PRO Tip: In preparation for the event, there will be parking lot closures in the area. Event parking begins at 6:00 PM and the skate park will close at dusk.
Lakewood Big Belmar Bash (July 3rd!)

Where? 7337 West Alaska Drive
Get ready to go big this Independence Day in the heart of Downtown Lakewood at the Big Belmar Bash. This vibrant celebration begins at 5:00 PM and will feature an evening full of excitement for all ages. There will be live music, as well as kids’ activities and a diverse range of vendors with unique goods. There will also be plenty of food and drinks and dogs are welcome to come out and celebrate as well. The finale of the bash will be the drone light show, scheduled for approximately 9:15 PM.
PRO Tip: After the event, check out the area restaurants and bars that will be staying open later (11:00 PM), such as Mason’s Dumpling Show, Locus Cider Belmar, and Little India Restaurant and Bar.
Littleton Red, White & You (July 3rd!)
Where? 7306 West Bowles Avenue
Littleton’s Red, White & You will be hosted in Clement Park from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event is scheduled for rain or shine and includes free admission. Attendees are invited to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and are asked to leave dogs at home. There will be a Kids Zone which includes a ticketed bounce house, free entertainment, food vendors, and restrooms. Parents can swing by the beer and wine gardens and there will be a concert by That Eighties Band, one of the most popular 80’s tribute bands in the country.
PRO Tip: Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 PM and visitors are asked to remain out of the fenced firework fallout zone. There is viewing anywhere in the park and a concert encore will follow the fireworks finale at the amphitheater.
Arvada Fireworks Display
Where? 11200 West 58th Avenue
The City of Arvada is excited to host its annual Fourth of July celebration at the Stenger Sports Complex. Gates will open to vehicles at 6:30 PM and the show will begin around 9:00 PM. Food trucks will be onsite between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM, so grab a bite to eat before the fireworks show!
PRO Tip: Propane grills are allowed at the complex, though attendees are asked to leave alcohol, personal fireworks, charcoal grills, and pets at home. West 58th Avenue will be shut down to traffic starting at 8:00 PM.
Aurora 4th of July Spectacular
Where? 15151 East Alameda Parkway
Celebrate the 4th of July in Aurora at the Municipal Center from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event will feature a variety of musical performances, with appearances by Games Wizard and Syndicate. The Independence Day event will also include food trucks and a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 PM. The light show will last approximately half an hour.
PRO Tip: Bags are subject to inspection and no animals are permitted, except service animals. Attendees are asked to leave glass bottles at home and no outside alcohol is allowed.
Broomfield Great American Picnic

There’s no better way to spend your Fourth of July than with your closest loved ones at the Great American Picnic. The event kicks off at 5:00 PM at the Broomfield County Commons Park and there will be fun for the whole family, including inflatables, concessions, food vendors, and a beer garden for those 21 and up. There will also be a unique holiday bike parade, as well as music starting at 6:00 PM. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 PM.
PRO Tip: Families can purchase unlimited play on the inflatables for $15. Kiddos will also enjoy face painting and balloon twisting and food vendors will include Fajita Junction, Kona Ice, The Snowy Churro, and Taste of Texas.
Commerce City 4thFest
Where? 6000 Victory Way
This annual celebration in Commerce City features a Colorado Rapids match and the largest public fireworks show in the state of Colorado! The family festival will be hosted at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and will include DJ sets, bounce houses, soccer darts, a rock climbing wall, a trampoline, a mechanical bull, an alpine tubing slide, and even a toddler zone! The event is free and open to the public โ so come on out and join in on the fun.
PRO Tip: In addition to the above festivities, the Colorado Rapids will also be hosting a block party for the first time. The party will be on the south side of the stadium with a live stream of the game.
Central Park Pancake Breakfast & Parade
Where? 29th & Roslyn
There’s nothing quite like the annual pancake breakfast in the park. Bring the family out to Founders Green at 9:00 AM to enjoy a plate of food โ which is free but donations are encouraged for those who want to give back to a local non-profit. There will also be a balloon artist and a face painter on site. Attendees are encouraged to decorate their bikes, tricycles, wagons, or scooters to participate in the parade, which begins at 10:30 AM.
PRO Tip: If you don’t have a bike, walkers are also invited to join in on the parade fun! No worries if you don’t have time to decorate either, just show up with a fun-loving attitude and enjoy the festivities.
Colorado Rockies Post-Game Fireworks
Where? 2001 Blake Street
Snag tickets to the Colorado Rockies home games against the Milwaukee Brewers and the Kansas City Royals on July 4th and 5th, respectively. Both games have a start time of 6:10 PM and will feature post-game firework shows. There will be a handheld flag giveaway on July 4th as well so fans can show off their patriotism as they cheer on the team.
PRO Tip: For fireworks games, rooftop tickets at Coors Field are standing-room only. Open seating will not be available at these games.
Golden 4th of July Festival
Where? 1300 10th Street
The 4th of July Festival in Golden is presented by the local Lions Club. There is no admission charge and the event is open to the public. Festivities begin at 11:30 AM and families are welcome to bring a picnic as they join in on this annual community celebration. Activities will include kids’ games, as well as music by three bands.
PRO Tip: Check out the food and drink vendors onsite, such as Coors Brewery! Family favorites feature pizza, tacos, and other tasty bites that are sure to keep you fueled for all the patriotic activities.
Westminster 4th of July Celebration

Westminster is putting on one of the best fireworks displays in the north metro area this year! Make sure to arrive early to take advantage of all the activities, vendors, and live music at City Park. Performances are set to include Kentucky Straight and That Eighties Band. The celebration begins at 4:00 PM and wraps up at 10:00 PM โ so come ready to party all evening long!
PRO Tip: Shuttles will be provided from various locations, so make sure to check the schedule to see where you can park and ride.
Boulder July 4th Concert Celebration

Where? 1212 Canyon Boulevard
Make the short trip up to Boulder to catch a live performance by the Boulder Symphony & Music Academy. The concert celebration kicks off at 7:00 PM and lasts approximately an hour and a half. Tickets range from $5-$15 and there will be drinks and food available for purchase. Symphonic classics from Bernstein’s Candide and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture will be played, as well as Beethoven’s Wellington’s Victory. This event has sold out in previous years, so secure your tickets as soon as possible and arrive early to secure your seats.
PRO Tip: In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Grace Commons โ which is just a couple of blocks from the historic Boulder Bandshell.
Independence Day Fireworks at Elitch Gardens (July 5th!)
Where? 2000 Elitch Circle
Several times throughout the year, Elitch Gardens hosts fireworks for guests! To celebrate Independence Day, the park will be wowing ticket holders as they light up the skyline once the park closes on July 5th. The show is included with your daily ticket or season pass.
PRO Tip: Elitch Gardens has gone cash-free and now only accepts debit, credit, and mobile payments. This change is meant to streamline payment processes so you spend less time in line and more time having fun!
Independence Celebration at Four Mile Park (July 6th!)
Where? 715 South Forest Street
Get ready to celebrate Independence Day the Four Mile Way! The event is scheduled for 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and tickets are priced at $10. Members of Four Mile Historic Park get in free. Tickets include activities such as pig racing, live performances by the Denver Concert Band, custom crafts, and blacksmith demonstrations. Watch living history as reenactors set up camp, mine for gold, and create rustic dishes.
PRO Tip: Swing by Big Belly Brothers BBQ for tasty bites or cool off with a cold treat from the Kona Ice truck. Parents can also enjoy an adult beverage from the Four Mile Bar.
